Get the Z-Blue Milgauss in a car and let the sunlight back light it somewhat. Watch that green sapphire edge lighting effect go! Why green sapphire: 1 - green is the Rolex corporate colour 2 - green is the Rolex anniversary colour. The green sapphire was introduced as an anniversary feature on the ref. 116400 black dial 3 - the green halo sapphire, like the electric blue dial, like the orange lightening bolt second hand - are a (perfect) allusion to electricity/radiation/technology.

Hey Sanjay, hope you're doing well. I dig your DFB jacket. This is a very fun piece, just a bunch of colours and shapes. The green crystal is simply an aesthetic choice as green is Rolex' colour as far as I know.
