One of the great early British rock bands - to me it is The Beatles and The Stones - and Jagger is one of the great front men of all time - please remember to look at The Warning and Band Maid in their collaboration "Show Them" and on their own - there is a video of The Stones performing live and John Lennon of The Beatles is out dancing in the audience

Always a pleasure watching and listening to you react to classic music. *This songs lyrics were about what was going on in the Vietnam war. I was 8 years old in 1969 and my parents bought the ‘Let It Bleed’ vinyl LP. I always liked the cake on the cover.

The Stones got big about 10 years earlier than I started listening. When I did find them there compilation album Hot Rocks blew me away, such catchy rick tunes and some structured songs like wild horses. The next Stones that influenced me was from early 80s, Tattoo You. Great tunes, start me up and a chill vibe song, waiting on a friend (that one has a cool official video), plus every track on that album was enjoyable to me. Thank you, Elok.

Great song from the greatest rock n roll band. Try to give the short lived band Zephyr a listen. Lead singer gives Janis Joplin vibes and a young Tommy Bolen shreds. Fun sound.

Interesting. It is very much of its time, druggie music. In its time, much music was innocent in comparison. To my knowing, the band were controversial.
