One of my favorite Stones clips of all time. RIP Charlie, you were the best!
@Gramet-sc1ki4 ай бұрын
It's " i can't be satisfied" a Muddy Waters song. This inspired, not musically but in the thematic " i can't get no satisfaction ". Like The Rolling Stones named them from the song "rollin' stone" (also named catfish blues) from ... Muddy Waters. if you like this clip go watch on YT, the tribute for Muddy Waters where Buddy Guy play and sing this song : "Can`t be Satisfied - Buddy Guy (acoustic)" the 3.49 mins version is the best because they don't cut the gospel sing intro where you see that in fact rock'n roll song come from the blues which come from african american work and gospel songs

Charlie usually may not speak that much, but when he does it's often spot on and honest, like his definition of covers in this clip: "They can be good in being different."

I love all the haters, all the idiots who have no appreciation for Mick and the rest of the band. These haters are cut from the same cloth who watched The Beatles Get Back and complained that the songs sounded rough. If it were not for the Rolling Stones embracing and honoring The Blues, many of these songs and the artists that wrote and performed them would have long faded from history. I have seen the Stones live three times and each time, when they went back and paid homage to the blues, you knew you were hearing something special, just like this one.

They recorded this on Album The Rolling Stones No 2 in 1964. Probably don't even remember. They took their name from a Muddy Waters album, and their first BIG single was Satisfaction, which was based on this song. They owe Muddy a great debt, and they were always respectful to him, and Wolf.
