This started the second phase Rolling Stones.. this was an open letter from Mick To Keith.. we arenin this together whatever happens we go on and rocknroll (and make the billions we didnt do til now).. Love Charlies playing here.. and on Steel Wheels generally he was a soldier of rhythm. Steady as a rock.. sounds easy but not easy to be that square for 5 mins.. this song is a classic. Stones are my church

I seen this show at the Pontiac Silverdome. They were really good that night. They played Ruby Tuesday and 2000 Light Years from Home a couple rare ones. :-) Peace

Lucky!! Love their psychedelic songs, She’s a Rainbow is a fav too! Saw them in ‘99 at Myriad Center in OK City, 19 yr young Jonny Lang opened; he was fantastic. This was when I became entranced with them and their music; Mick strutting down the catwalks his young exuberance~energy. My lady friend had the biggest crush on Mick, I didn’t feel the same but during the performance I was under his spell~thumb, hooked ever since. Live music is where it’s at!❤

The bridge. Listen to the bridge at least 100 times on repeat. E F# G. A child would not write a progression so simple, but it is fabulous. Ronnie’s sinewy lead. Bill’s slinky bass. The hallowing vocals.

Remember when this song hit the radio airwaves. Then the announcement of a World Tour. I was so pumped for this show. Slept out overnight and landed in the 5th row for my efforts. I was all of 20 yrs old and on top of the world getting a chance to watch the Glimmer Twins doing their craft. First of many times actually. Secretly wishing I could of seen those Englishmen in 1973 or 1978.
