@@petermills542 When I first heard Emotional Rescue, like many, I was dissappointed but it grew on me having a great summer in my early adolesence of 1980 and the record just got better over the years. Send it Me is one of the Stones songs I listen to as much as any big classic hit especially good for preparing a barbecue in the summer. I've got Some Girls and Emotional Rescue set up on my playlist back to back as if it were a double album and it's great for an afternoon party.

I get why they had to cut all these songs down when you had to fit everything into a 40 minute vinyl format. But you would think in all of the multiple CD "remasters" over the last 3 decades, they might have put out the whole song officially. Hell. I'm actually surprised they didn't put this out as a 12" single at the time.

Sweet swingin' extended version of a wee beauty from The Rolling Stones. Love the slightly reggae sound of this. I swear I'm actually still STUCK in the '80s. Those were the years when I had a mullet, well I liked to think I did and got an earing! Never heard the song until just now. @@psmguy63 You flatter me but I'll take it thank you bro. Gotta admit my fav Stones tune is the 11min live version of; 'You Can't Always Get What You Want'...one of few songs that pulls my heart strings to the point of tearin' up...Another one is Bob Seger's 'Like A Rock'...And finally how about Michael Bolton; 'When I'm Back On My Feet Again'...next time you hear those tunes please think about my comment...they are almost the only 3 songs that'll tear me up these days. Oh and Pink Floyd's; 'Comfortably Numb'. That song reminds me of the time I spent in 2 hospital Intensive Care Units [almost 3 weeks]. I was receiving the max amount of morphine via drip line my body could take to relieve the intense pain I was in. I was hallucinating to some wild level too...in short I was between dying and living. And I even believed one of my Intensive Care Nurses was going to kill me. There is a saying that 'fear and anticipation of death is worse than death itself'. I have felt that and let me tell you, you are not kneeling before god...you are crawling on your stomach in the gutter of barbed wire.
