Hi, thanks! I haven't actually used any amp on this, the Digitech RP80 does it all, the Digitech goes directly into the computer. The amp was set to U3. U stands for the Vox AC30 simulation I believe, 3 is the ammount of overdrive. That is all, very simple settings. But generally, whatever amp you use, it is just about the right ammount of overdrive. Not too much, actually.

Okay, I searched a bit and the finish is called Antique Burst. There are Fenders with Antique Burst finish, but the color is brown. On Squiers it is red like this

Hi, this was a very simple way of recording - the guitar is plugged into the Digitech RP80 - a very simple multieffect and that goes into computer. No mic, no amp. Not a very good way of recording, but I think the result is not that bad for such a limited gear in this case.

In this video I actually don't use any amp at all. The guitar is plugged in to the RP 80 (a simple multieffect with amp simulations), which goes directly into the computer. It is not a very good way to do it, but I didn't have a good amp at that time. But all you need for this song is a good valve amp really, no effects.

Yea, the 6th string...I know it shouldn't be there, but the thing is that it is tuned in open G 99% of the time, but I like to tune it normaly every now and then and then I need the low E. That's why I keep it there. It is not such a big problem, I just don't hit it and I have it tuned down to D in the case I hit it accidentaly.

Well, it is not impossible, but it will not sound right. You will either heve to play the chords differently or just play 3 strings (BGD). I recommend to tune the guitar into open G, it is no problem really and that is the only way to get it right.

Hi, I bought this guitar in 2006 and I don't think they have it in the stock these days. Keith plays a lot of different teles. I checked the current Squires and If I was buying a Keith-like Tele now, I would get this one: FENDER SQUIER Vintage Modified Telecaster Custom MN BK (the one with one single and one humbucker)
