For me they are the best Band of all time. The modern shit heavy metal have no bass, and using a machine type guitar tuning. They call themeselfs rockers, wearing black outfit, but they look down on these bands. They made the rock and roll. The " only heavy metal rocker" should put so much more respect to Stones. Any ‘would be’ drummers out there should study this man. I done it for 5 years straight. Missing the 4th on the hats is a beautiful technique. Those opening 3 chords just crashing...unmistakable! I've heard it a million times at every HS, College and NFL game I've been to! Keith playing with the Open G tuning! Such a crowd-pleasing, and fun song to hammer out. It didn't occur to me back then how brilliant the Stones were in the late 70's and early 80's to embrace the punk vibe at the time.
