The first time I saw the Rolling Stones in concert was in 1978. They had a new album called Some Girls. Mick Jagger was 35 at the time. Incredible how he's 80 and still rocking.

Did you ever see the interview from that tour when they were asked why they called the album 'Some Girls'? Without missing a beat, Keith answered, "'cause we couldn't remember all their f______ names..." :)

Try to recall if you've ever seen a regular ol' 80-year-old walk backward. If you have, you were probably hoping he or she wouldn't lose balance and fall over. Yet, there's Mick ... DANCING and STRUTTING backward, while singing and maintaining breath control. I'm sorry, but that blows my mind. 😃

The Rolling Stones have long since been able to retire with millions. They don't need the money that comes from yet another extended tour while they are in their 80's. I can only think it is their passion for performing their music. So happy that they are still touring, and giving generation after generation yet another opportunity to say..."I saw them!" For me, I saw them first in 1966...
