If I had a child of my own, I would actually move to Atlanta just so I could enroll my child in the Ron Clark Academy. Kids who are taught by an awesome teacher like this are sure to have an advantage when learning any subject because this teacher cares. That makes all the difference in the world.

As I watch this 35 second clip of the greatest man alive who completely KNOWS, truly UNDERSTANDS, as well as, gains PURE WISDOM in the POWER of educating our young people, it reminds me of the AMAZING days I spent at the Ron Clark Academy this time last year. However, what I'm left with are tears.... Tears fall from my eyes as pain swells in my heart for the injustice our public education is experiencing... "WHY?....." is the question I keep asking and seeking answers to as the collective heartache teachers and students are experiencing today. Why has man taken the joy of learning and teaching away from us to only replace it with teaching scripts, computer based teaching programs, and most of all TESTS, TESTS TESTS? My motto has always been, "If a teacher is teaching from the heart first and foremost, the test will take care of itself in the end". However, it seems every single aspect of education has all come down to a numbers in a money-playing, money-loving world as the PURE LOVE of EDUCATION falls to it's knees in total disbelief! Yes, I understand "education" itself contains no physical knees to fall upon, however, the ones who hold the TRUE POWER and LOVE of education in their HEARTS do have knees and the scars are deep! Being aware our children are being placed within a box and being molded into a uniform label as "Common", the question I ask from within my heart of hearts is...."What is our solution? What is it going to take in order for education to be delivered back into the hands of the teachers, parents, and students again?" All my solutions have led to dead ends, but I have FAITH if I continue seeking answers, it WILL eventually come into existence! Ron Clark, I stand and applaud you for so many reasons! If you can give me any helpful advise, just tell me and I will do it! Thank you for being the LIGHT shining BRIGHTLY in a very dimly lit world of education! Thank you for giving us HOPE! Your partner in education, Holly

@lillovely3257 жыл бұрын
I'm reading all these comments and some of them are just ridiculous, saying "black people wake up!" SMH. These kids are having fun and aren't "forced" to dance. This is a great school. And you mention the tuition, of course it's expensive. You can see the care in this video and in the test scores. So when black kids are getting a good education from a teacher who happens to be white, it's a problem? THAT is racist. This video made me smile btw.
