I appreciate Br Phap Dung sharing his stories - they make me smile. And it's reality, what he shares, so we can get a glimpse of what it might be like to be a monk or nun. It is good that he can laugh about difficulties in following the routines and protocols. His reflections on his practice help us relate easily to him, see the challenges monastics can face, and inspire us to practice well.

The brother has a wonderful openness with his weaknesses- it is a lovely humility! It is okay to not be perfect, but in striving to be better through recognising and correcting our bad habits we can nurture better habits for us 😊

The 😷 will not allow us to sync in our breathing. Hopefully, when covid is not causing us the suffering we shall remember to take advantage of synchronised breathing. Air is a miracle that most of us had never seen as such.
