Such a beautiful expressive teacher. I've watched this three times and always realize a-new each time. My Favorite teacher from Thays legacy.

I like that concept you put forward: you need to know how to suffer and to take care of yr suffering- accepting it. Thank you for that , please speak more on it. Its a v difficult thing to practise but I shall try.

Thank you and Plum Village and dear Thay for making all your teachings so accessible for people all over the world! I am from the UK and a retired health care worker in neurosciences. At the moment I am going through a lot of sufferings from the sudden separation of my beloved one (whom I cared for with compassion through the last 9 years ) by other family members of his! So, I am angry right now and it comes on and off, but, I am finding this teaching so very very helpful for me to Let Go with understanding and carry on my Compassion in my continued following the Budhist path. Thank you , Brother for your sense of humour too, much appreciated 🙏 ML xxx

How ?? How do we learn, how do we practice “ how to suffer ? “ I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin aggressive lymphoma DBCL cancer 11-17-2021 and undergoing chemotherapy is debilitating. I’ve started practicing mindfulness of the breath …. Breathing in …. Hello cancer. How are you? Breathing out …. I am here now for you! I also tell myself to embrace the pain . Embrace your suffering ( the pain, the burning sensation, the fever, the chills, the stomach pains, the pins) …. This is taking care of your suffering!

This is a wonderful talk in every way. Brother Phap Dung is an excellent teacher, with a big heart. One small thing that I liked also, is the sound of the bell. The recording has the lower tones vibrating through very clearly. I wish that everyone could be in the presence of a larger bell. I find those lower vibrations very grounding, and that they create a lot of peace. Thank you for this recording.

Do the monks at Plum Village intentionally model Thay's handwriting, or is it just coincidence that they all seem so similar?

Thank you so much Thay Phap Dung. Basic teachings in your way of sharing is more easy for me to understand, because basic teachings in fact are so important in order to build the whole teaching. I seem to be attached to dharma talks and crave their wisdom. Is this a paradox?
