One of my favourite tracks from this album is one that's hyped but many cats in interviews! The Roots - Boom has Black Thought imitating some classics in the most believable way! One of the tracks that show how goated Black Thought is

They were at their hardest in album 3 "Illadelph Half-life" when Malik B was trading off with Black Thought, their styles were so different, it was so tight. They were together for the first 4 albums, the best being "Do You Want More" "Illadelph" and "Things Fall Apart" before he left the band. He came back for a few tracks - some dope ones too, from later albums. "Respond/React" is to me the most ill they ever got, that is THE song to check out, especially to here Thought and Malik trade off and KILL IT!

Should dial it way back on an old school AF Roots track Distortion to Static, 1995...this one hooked me back in my early days... This one is just definition of roots and old school track this in contrast is so much more polished... Speaking of Common...his leakers Free? Up there with Black Thoughts hot97 Free.
