Totally agree, Thomas. One show that I really hated was "Pro Wrestling's Greatest Secrets". Those assholes treat the business as if it's some kind of scam and it's just not. It's entertainment, pure and simple. But, the more they put out those anti-wrestling documentaries, the more people are drawn to and love pro wrestling. So, they can make all those documentaries they want. They're only helping wrestling's fanbase grow and they don't even know it.

I felt like I sat down with George South for 25 minutes and came away better for it! --- I'd so love to meet him one day and be able to just talk wrestling with him for awhile! George South is the World Champion of Wrestling ....to so many wrestling stars that I grew up with! Though some may say he was the guy that worked with the guy that drew money.... Such an awesome documentary. I didn't appreciate guys like Manny Fernandez and the Rock N Roll Express back in the 80's. I always loved the Masked Superstar and Jimmy Valiant. I watched World Championship Wrestling but was totally into the WWF. I liked World Class and the Mid South/UWF. Now I watch all the old matches on KZbin and can't figure out how I ever watched the WWF. It's been sports entertainment instead of wrestling since the end of the 80's. "Vince offered all those promoters a deal". Yes, but he only did that because of the respect he had for the business. Because any promoter that didn't take the deal, Vince simply went to their TV station(s) and took their time slots. And the talent then went to the WWF not just because of the money but also the exposure of being on national TV.

very good documentary. makes me wonder why edge is wwe HOF long before George South is. George South obviously paved the way for some of these HOF people and yet he does not have his spot.

This is what it's all about a guy who really loves what he does regardless of fame and money. Fame and money has broken alot of these guys spirits. George is a true example of how to always keep the passion . That goes for anybody outhere with a dream. Once the passion and fun is not there, you know something is wrong.

Watching this really takes me back to the good old days of Mid Atlantic Wrestling and gives me some hope that wrestling will return to wrestling instead of "sports entertainment " I have hope that Billy Corgan and the NWA will bring some of that back but who knows
