You're a little misinformed. Ric Flair endorses his wrestling school and has sent his kids there, along with other vets. He was apparently Ric Flair's "favorite enhancement talent" to work with. He's also included him in books he's written.

George South is one of those talented athletes who you saw on TV, constantly losing, and thought, this guy's the worst! Only as time's gone by, do I now look back and realize the skill he had to make the other guys look good, week in and week out. Now, that he's taken on a role as trainer and mentor, he's inspiring a new generation, who have already shown the merits of learning under someone like George South. Solid guy.

I met George in one of the Gaffney SC shows, I bought my kids a copy of his book and had him autograph it, super nice guy, very family friendly show with Matt Hardy that year. I did however want to ask him to get me an autograph book for my current supervisor Vernon Deaton from Spartanburg sc, another guy who worked alot of top named talent like George did?does. Keep up the Good work with Wrestlecade!!!

I love George South. I am a big fan of many so-called "jobbers" ( I hate that terminology). Mr. South is a true master of his craft. He and many others (Bob Cook, Barry Horowitz, Derrick Domino, Mike Sharpe, to name a few) are so undervalued and so important to wrestling. God bless George South for many hours of great entertainment.

I love George hes still going strong. Just watch a great match between him and Sam Houston from nwa 7/12/86 and probably the best match on the card. Sam got the win of course cause George was playing heel which he does fabulously. But Sam was looked rocked holding his head after he hit George with the bulldog. I dont know if he got potatoed before that im definitely gonna have to watch it again. Jimmy is an amazing guy too i got to meet him when my uncle Danny Fargo bought mwa off of Dale tnt Mann. My uncle never had a bad word to say about George either before my uncle passed back in 2003. Keep it up George and keep doing what ya do my brother. Only thing i hate is that George has seen so many of his wrestling brothers pass.

Say what you want about these guys age but they still around and capable of having matches, says alot about there ability thru the years to entertain with out hurting themselves or one another. What's the career span of wrestlers that started in the last 25 years most have broke necks, broke backs or other injuries that side line them within 5 to 10 year from all these stupid unnecessary moves they do. Call them old school all ya want but they forgot more about making wrestling look real than any the new guys will ever know. Give me a good storyline with a heel to hate and a baby face to pull for, old school all the way.

Yeah me too sad to see older wrestlers like this, out of shape, dirty kit, shorts, boots, knee arm pads etc, dirty at start of match, not able to move around like they did when they were younger... Really sad, but I'm guessing they need the cash, I mean wrestling isn't known as a career that helps towards your old age, health wise, or financially, yep I agree really sad to see

I love how it's the same match between the old guys over and over again, exactly the same... Like nobody's filming it or have ever seen it before, George South is going to do is jumping jacks and taught both sides of the Ring then missed the three-point stance into the turnbuckle, Robert Gibson's going to go through whoever's legs it is to tag Ricky Martin and then all hell will break loose for just a second, then Robert Gibson Will Roll Up George South in a pen, that's right next to the ropes and all they would have to do is reach out and grab the ropes, but he won't in that will be the end. That's two matches in a row, let's see if we can go for 3 ...

Never heard of him but honestly it's just sad, some of these guys were legends, now they are just desperately holding on to something that isn't there anymore...plus the matches with George are really bad, you can hear him calling out every move he's about to do, the art of wrestling is to be able to talk through the whole match and no one hears a thing, it's like magic...but he's so loud you can hear every move before it happens...

Both The NWA and The WWF waited too long to realize what they had in the Rock nRoll Express ....their work was always good but their looks faded ... that was a huge part of their success , The Women and Jailbait alike bought boat loads of tickets and merch . Ricky Morton refused to pull a Shawn Michaels on Robert Gibson , or he would have been a top babyface . But those kinds of blue eyed babyfaces have a shelf life .

God I hate the rock and roll Express, I can never tell where Bob Gibson's looking and Ricky Martin is just goofy... Especially watching him trying to do the old moose, they don't even seem tough... That's the problem, they seem like a regular guy like me could beat their ass at this point oh, that's not what I want to see
