Joey, maybe it’s the edition that makes it look that way, but seems so cold towards Maria, since the last episodes. And I do get that she seemed very out there when she freaked out and threaten to leave to fish a “please stay, I do care for you” but Joey is always so kind, so empathic towards all the women that his change towards her cannot just stem from that. Daisy is always so constricted, another way of showing the same emotions Maria was feeling, and he seems understanding towards her. So I have two theories lol: Either something else happened that we don’t know and wasn’t in the episodes, because his glance towards her now always seems like fed up or passive agressivo. Maybe one of the other girls said something she may or (may not) have done and planted a seed of question in him OR He is really really attracted to Maria but he already decided who he is going to marry and your crush is not someone you would want in your engagement day or near you if your intention is to be with someone else. If he didn’t felt anything for Maria I think he would have wanted her in the Fantasy Suites, because they always have fun together and they have a lot of chemistry and spark. But if he is already trying to prove someone else that he is the one, he doesn’t even want Maria there because she would be a distraction, because he likes her, and it’s safer to be far away from her.

Joey and Maria were a mismatch. She’s too vivacious and lively for him. I think she would make a great bachelorette. At least she’s not dull and generic like everyone else. I like that she’s down to watch and has some humour, it makes the show more watchable. I wished she stayed but hoping to see her as the bachelorette.

I was shocked and I mean SHOCKED that he sent Maria home. I think Maria was simply trying to be honest with Joey about her insecurities and vulnerabilities and I don't know if that is a reason to send someone home. I realize it created some doubt in Joey's head and that can be tough as well but Maria maybe just needed that one man in her life to finally come along and protect her heart. I hope she becomes the next Bachelorette. I love her and she deserves it.

@@LizEsguerra I hear you, I can see that perspective for sure and exactly why I said, I can see why Joey had his doubts. I think she was just really in her head that moment (like she had said) and she did not in any way, shape, or form articulate her feelings the best way. I just think sometimes we all have vulnerable moments that come from experiences in our past and sometimes because we are feeling and thinking ALL of these things, all those thoughts come out in at once. I just think it was a very honest moment to watch, I know I have been there too.

@@jakestans I really, really liked her. I honestly thought with all the BS we see in The Bachelor franchises (most women not being genuine on that show, IMO) I just thought she was REAL. I thought she was authentic. I feel like with Maria what you see is what you get on or off the show. I don't know that for sure of course, it was just how she came across. And yes, for all the women who have come and gone on The Bachelor, I feel like she was not 1 OF a billion but 1 IN a billion. Just my opinion

Watching Joey's final four ceremony I was getting deja vu. Then I remembered the one from Jojo's season(final four ceremony also). Luke pulled her aside and told her that he loved her and then he got sent home. It was exactly the same as with Maria,even with the setting for the ceremony.. One of the best settings 😃

What breaks my heart is when Marisa’s father told her that Joey asked him if he got down on one knee, would he have his blessing. Maria’s face lit up and it left her happy for the rest of the night. She believed Joey loved her too but then he let her go. Seriously his loss!!

I think Joey definitely has strong feelings and is falling in love with the women. I do think his feelings are also influenced by the certainty that he gets that the other woman feels the same towards him. I think that is one reason he sent Maria home. I mean obviously we don't see everything. He does express that insecurity though that he fears someone he chooses won't choose him back.
