thanks to our liebour government sights like this are no more & longbridge as long since gone wiped from existance due to poor judgment of bailing out a bank instead of a british car manufacturer

In all fairness Rover was dumped by both Honda and then by BMW. And if they couldn't make it work what hope some chancers who didn't have the capital to design a new model but could wave a Union Jack a lot? Many of the problems that felled it seem to have been deep-rooted within Rover itself. The Tories would have let it die as well.
