The worst marching of the guard of honor ever seen? Had they got adequate training for marching orderly?

On Behalf of the RA, as they are not allowed to respond. Shhhhh idiot !

Relax lad, marching probably isn't their main thing. As you can see, they do artillery more than anything else. If you were them and you were getting insulted for marching out of step, how would you feel? People make mistakes, and they're not the foot guards so don't expect most from them.

@@ivanho2787 No excuse ! They are professional soldiers who should at any time maintain the fame and dignity of the troop that they belong to. I would say the scout troop of my kid's school can march better than them.

@@正義香港人 Well lad, if say, you were a artillery man, dealing with artillery for so long, you wouldn't particularly be the best in marching. Plus, they are trying their best in this situation which they are unfamiliar with. And, as my Scout troop's marching commander, they aren't doing too bad for what their main jobs are. If your scout troop is constantly practicing marching, obviously they would get used to it and do good. But you have to remember that these soldiers have more to do than marching. As these lads can be deployed to the frontlines anytime, I doubt that they will prioritise marching over let's say.. Practicing gunning their howitzers, which in this video, they're doing it spiffingly.

@@正義香港人 Former Canadian Forces reservist here. I belonged to a mechanized infantry regiment but was seconded to do Ceremonial Guard for a summer. The amount of practice that is required to perform flawless drill takes many hours a day for several weeks before the first mounting of the guard. When I returned to my unit my drill was out of step with the rifle company, whose main focus was training to "seek out and destroy the enemy" and not to dazzle audiences with precision drill. In armies whose main purpose it to look really good on parade, there is plenty of time to drill, drill, drill. But looking good in a mass formation on Red Square is not the slightest bit helpful during a senseless human wave attack.

Please just share the link. The video is far too big to send through email.
