Gruwelijke muziek bij de entree en het orgel is ook niet mijn ding. Daarna werd het beter. Maar echt vrolijk werd je er niet van. Het eind was weer een drama. You can tell they are absolutely in love. Despite any nervousness from the public wedding they are very much in love and comfortable with each other. It seems a lot of royal families appear fake but this wedding and this couple appear genuine.

Her father was count, her mother was 'jonkvrouwe' or lady. But her maternal grandparents were a baron and a countess.

Once you walk down that court there is another door on your right that goes out to the small space in front of the main entrance of the cathedral Notre Dame de Luxembourg....and then you just walk in tgrough the main door....As simple as that...A luxembourger living in exile in Thailand...Greetings...Hope I was helpful...

I only knew that they were distant cousins and shared many relatives and ancestors in common but that was all that was said about them at the wedding.The British Royalty and the Swedish Royalty seem to be more accessible to the public and their lives are more open. I read that her mother died in August 2012 and Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Countess Stephanie were married at 2 separate weddings,one civil and one religious in October 2012. .

Andrew Thompson I don't believe they are bowing to the flag....but to a "monument" to the 'fallen' citizens of Luxembourg during wars and plagues and such. If they were bowing to the flag…they are doing so out of respect for the hosting nation. Same reason that during the Olympics, regardless of where they are held….everyone gets up when the national anthem is played. Respect.

This is a Catholic wedding. They have mass after the wedding ceremony. If either the bride or groom wasn't Catholic, there would be no mass so the ceremony would be faster similar to Protestant weddings.
