Hey what is going on guys, today I'm sharing with you The RSS Formula Hybrid 2022!! This is RSS's latest and by far best work!! The FH2022 is actually TWO DIFFRENT CARS and yes, it has PORPOISING!! This car shatters every other car in AC, and is right there with the VRC Formula Alpha 2022!! If you guys did enjoy and downloaded this mod a like and a sub would mean a lot!! Today I tried both of them and I don't know what to choose, the options with the VRC one (different wings, real moving wings ecc..) give me an inconcious feel that is better and more detailed, but RSS is a very well known developer that has always made an excellent work; I certainly don't have your driving experience nor a setup that make me really feel a 100% the cars (gaming on a fair T150 with the default pedals that basically are 2 buttons of plastic :). I'll watch your video tomorrow !

The X 2022 does not have realistic physics and shape of the car as it is the proposed model from 2019. This new hybrid 2022 comes from the data they’ve collected from the current F1 cars to make the car realistic

Just bought this and Formula America 2020 and RSS 2 V6 2020 today and they will be the first cars I will buy from RSS (Although not the first modded cars I have ever bought, that goes to VRC and their Formula E Gen 2 car called Formula Lithium 2019).

I drove the S around Pyyer's version of Silverstone last night and was running my fastest lap times ever. Since I'm more of a Ferrari guy I'll have to try the regular version. Very nice review video, can't wait to try RSS Formula Hybrid. Only one thing, I think the Mercedes doesn't have higher top speed in real life. As far as I know the Mercedes top speed was really bad in most races and lower than the Ferrari top speed.

Sense they have started to sort the porpoising out, they have become quite quick, the Ferrari is definitely one of the slower cars, will Red Bull firmly ahead. Ferrari do better at higher wing able tracks (bahrain, silverstone, Spain ext.)

Sounds like the config options are a lot like the 2017 Hybrid, where the difference was one had the large shark fin and T-wing, while the other config didnt have one. Still really cool, but I might stick with the VRC car.

You have to buy it again, this is a completely brand new car from the ground up, the FHX is based on the 2019 interpretation of 2022 cars, this one is of course based on this season, fitting the FIA regs to a tee

Got it today and my problem is that when you turn the steering wheel completely blocks my view ahead. Makes it hard in S-chicanes. I don't really have that issue with the Vanilla Ferrari F1 cars from kunos themselves. Any tips for camera setup?

If you use the version with the CSP updates then it is a massive improvement over anything RSS has done before.

How can tell the performance of this car 8s comparable to the VRC car? I am 2 seconds slower averagely on every circuit, it is easier to drive which is not necessarily a downside, actually the opposite, but definitely slower and doesn't seem right to me compared to what we see in real life

@@JacobCappello I don't think VRC car is 2 seconds faster if you mean compared to real life, I see people hot lappingh quite realistically, considering that in real life you can't really push to the limits because you can crash to death and you can't restart an hotlapping session, there are also variable to consider that are beyond what assetto corsa can reproduce, my opinion

Gotta say… maybe an unpopular opinion, but, I much prefer the VRC car. To that end, this seems like a rushed and half-baked attempt to repackage the Formula Alpha. I’ll keep driving the VRC as my primary - I cannot recommend this mod in good faith.

@@JacobCappello yeah - got it as soon as I got the email (regret it though)… The FFB is terrible (when hitting curbs the wheel just goes neutral - perhaps a bug?) imo and the porpoising seems like an afterthought (maybe in response to VRC) - at least it’s very easy to drive (also significantly slower than the VRC with the baseline setups). I’ve not driven a modern F1 car like most people, so I have no idea which is more realistic - but the RSS doesn’t seem feasible, and the balance doesn’t feel right compared with the Super Formula car I have driven.

And RSS porpoising is kinda weak - i agree but you have to keep in mind that they took the current rl state into consideration, which means less porpoising than in the early season

This is their full time job, the core team has been working nonstop the past months to finish this car. The creator of the 3d model said it took him roughly 3 months to completely build this car from scratch. RSS also does private projects for many different clients. So creating AC mods is a big part of their work but not the only thing they do.
