The Rubens released this song about two years ago, and at the time they were just a group of boys from a country town near where I live. No one had heard of them at the time, but this song helped me get through the worst summer of my life. This song reached out to so many hearts and is still just as achingly beautiful as the first time it was recorded, I really think these boys deserve the fame they've fallen into.

Well, I think the song is about an entanglement between someone he had not imagined to be for him but obviously has left an impact on him. The struggle between should I or shouldn't I tell them the way they make me feel. Maybe there is some kind of sacrifice to be made in order to do so and that conflict is coming through as a struggle to choose what's next.
