I just asked about the movie she was starring in (Somewhere in Time) and then thanked her saying that I was looking forward to seeing it. Bit of trivia...for anyone who may not know this, in the original "Die Hard", there's a scene where the traffic cop is trying to tell the police detective who's negotiating with the terrorists, that the civilian in the building who he's been talking to by radio, may be a cop. The detective then turns to the cop and says "How can you possibly know that? He could be a god damned bartender for all we know". The "in joke" is, Bruce Willis' main job before he became an actor, was a bartender. And one more...when Ashton Kutcher broke up with Brittany Murphy to date Demi Moore, a reporter on a red carpet asked Brittany how she felt about the breakup and she replied, "Well, HE doesn't seem to have a problem with age, and SHE doesn't seem to have a problem with size, so they're perfect for each other". Burrrrn! 😂😂

I had an experience with Rachael Ray...and her hubby, at the Union Square Green Market in Manhattan several years ago that confirmed my dislike for her. She was shopping for vegetables and took over an area where five people could have stood to select produce. Her purse and bags were strewn over the vegetables. Her husband, acting like her personal security, was quite visible anxious thinking she was going to be spotted and swarmed by fans! No one noticed her AT ALL! I told her to get her crap off the carrots so I could select what I wanted and it didn't go over well with her overly-protective hubby. I thought he was going go into spasms...he was already twitching! HAHA We New Yorkers are quite unfazed by celebrities and simply ignore them, giving them their space...sometimes this seems to perplex them...as was the case when I encountered Hugh Jackman while shopping many Christmases ago! He was TOTALLY ignored to the point that HE STARTED TO SING IN THE CHECK OUT LINE simply to get some attention!!!! After that, I refer to him as HUGE JACKASS!

Then her assistant looked at me and said: "she won't have anything, thank you". She couldn't even answer back to me while I was facing her. JLo is extremely difficult to work with. Some of the things mentioned in the video aren’t rumors. She had a concert at the venue I used to work at like a decade ago. She was escorted by several security officers provided by the venue itself. She told them, and I quote, to quit looking at her. Like, it wasn’t fixated staring or anything, she wanted them to completely avoid even brief glances at her. She also demanded one of the security officers to be fired on the spot for whatever reason. I dont recall if he was fired or simply re-assigned to another post just to shut her whiny ass up. Another time she was at the same venue, she went to see another show with her kids, and she would only arrive at her seat after the show had started and leave before it was over so it would be completely dark and she would remain unseen. Also, iirc, she demanded one of the restaurants to close down for public while she was dining in there. If she has so many issues with ppl looking At her, she in the wrong business then. So much for “Jenny from the Block” she claims to be…

Right, seeing it again, I was thinking the same thing. Guys don't usually slap other guys, but if he hit him any harder and say broke his nose or drew blood, it could have resulted in serious assault charges. Chris Rock maybe felt he deserved it, at least a little for going too far, and firing a personal attack which he thought was just a joke. Now coincidentally, Chris Rock is the only celebrity I ever met. I met him after a local comedy show at the time New Jack City came out. He was extremely shy back then and very different from his on state persona and bold characters on SNL.

Don't go to theaters and pay money to watch the movies they are in, or go to their concerts. If that doesn't get their attention, nothing will. If they are not money makers, their careers are over. By the same token, some fans take their admiration of "Stars" too far, and become obtrusive, irritating, and overzealous. Actors, are people too, and have a right to privacy just like we all do. Give them some space. An autograph is just a name. It won't make your life any better, and is worth zero, no matter how big of a star they are. Those celebrities who are rude, abusive, and obnoxious, won't be celebrities forever. That's the thing about life....how you treat others, is often what you get back!
