On paper this sounds amazing. Just don't drag your feet getting options available. Threaded barrel, thread on comp, different grip modules available in fde for the people that would like to dye them different colors. Offer up the fire control insert as an individual purchase. PDW grip with an arm brace and forward mag holder.

As a Glock lover for 38 years, my eye is on the new Ruger RXM. Tests so far are proving that the Ruger RXM may become a Glock 19 competitor!

I like how you mentioned on the gun that you tried to put a magazine disconnect in the gun but you couldn't. Lookin at you Ruger. Not every gun needs the Hillary hole or a magazine disconnect.

@ oh I must have missed the Glock modular system. I loved Glock and own dozens of them but am frustrated they refuse to innovate while the rest of the industry leaves them in the dust. 5 years ago they were number 1. Now they’re many better options at better price points. Glock needs to INNOVATE and I’m confident they are able too. They just need to choose too.

Ruger should have made the LC Carbine in 9mm. I would have bought one. Instead I purchased the S&W FPC. I have a Security 9 and a 22 Charger with a brace. Great firearms.

Indeed, this first run is a G19 gen 3 clone, but with a (reportedly) better trigger, direct mount optics compatible, and a separate FCU for swapping between different frames. Also has a 1911 grip angle. And made by an American company 😎

I like it but see 2 negatives. The dumb circle window on top of the barrel hood that allows gas & carbon to get on the optic window and I don’t see it written that the barrel is cold hammer forged. 😮

Ruger your plan trying to shove this gun on is has backgired. i will no longer buy any gun manufacturers send out in mass to gun tubers. im not even watching this video. I am only interested in videos and reviews done buy people who actually purchase the firearms and purchase before receiving one from manufacturer for testing.

This is a huge waste to me. Ruger should of partnered with Magpul to make grip mods for their Ruger American Pistol that's already chassis based. We have enough Glock clones on the market. It's not nicer than Shadow Systems Foundation line. PSA Dagger is cheaper than this with way more options. Why, why waste the time to get a very small fraction of the glock market. When Glock ppl are just going to buy Glock.

I disagree. Iam glad to see more modular centric platforms out there to take the place of Sigs garbage. This opens up the door for more companies to build upon the Glock platform.They arent the first to do this but Zev's prices are nightmare mode. Hopefully this new system runs.

@vaughnsadekni665 I partially agree with you. I like the modular centric platforms. I have an APX-A1, Echelon, Rugers American pistol, and 2 p320s. I like the idea. I'm more disappointed Ruger didn't do this year ago with the American pistol. They could've been in this market along with Sig years ago, but the choice an already saturated Glock market? Why. I have been asking this from Ruger, but not this. Im a little biased towards the RAP, obviously, lol. But i don't expect much from this. Hopefully, the RXM will prove me wrong.
