I've always found myself confused with the difference between the XBox controller and Nintendo controllers. For emulators, I simply bind B as A and so forth because it's easier to use those positions in a Nintendo game. Just to let you guys know, the 3D F-Zero games do not have the ability to jump start or burnout so you can just hold A during the countdown. Only the 2D/Mode-7 games have that.

Blue_Boo Oh he’s fine with puns; it’s the bad ones and the poorly delivered ones he has low tolerance for (i.e. most of Emile’s puns since they fall under both categories more often than not). 360 d-pad is awful! It's sloppy an inprecise, it's got massive deadzones (on a d-pad, wtf?) and randomly false inputs when your finger's not even on it. I suppose it would be mildly better for fighting games than Nintendo because it doesn't dig into the fingers like the cross shape so it would quarter circle a bit more easily, though the deadzones make that questionable. That said for any other type of input it's just not fit for purpose... and even if you argue it's use for fighting games it's massively inferior to the SNK Neo Geo/Pocket/Color microswitch d-stick or basically any fight stick on the market so it's hardly a positive claim.
