What I absolutely love about that entire Sticker Star thing is that, if you really look at the words he's saying, he's not actually being nice at all. His favorite thing about the game is one specific character, because that one specific character has a single line that makes them look better than the rest of the character cast. He talks about how he wishes he could see the character more often, since they're part of a feature that he basically references as pointless. He talks about how the game looks good on paper (ha ha), then spends the remaining half of his time talking about the music and one specific mechanic he enjoyed. My _god,_ he bullshits better than half the college students I know.

I think that challenge Chugga did to praise Sticker Star could actually be a cool new category. See how long a contestant can keep up a monologue about an experience or opinion of something game related since that's basically how everyone in Thrown Controllers made a name for themselves. Could call it "60 Second KZbin Star" or something.

I think the questions would have to be super vague since the challenge is more about keeping up a dialog rather than general trivia. Things like: "Tell us about your favorite pokemon. (Or just pick one you know.)" "Describe a hard fought boss battle you've had." "Give an example of how the AI cheated you." Then they get a five second countdown before needing to go. A lot of what LPers say is off the top of their heads, after all.

There's a british radio gameshow called Just a Minute, which challenges a contestant to speak for a full minute on a topic without hesitating, repeating a word (other than very common ones), or deviating from the topic. It'd be neat to adapt something like that for Thrown Controllers.

it's usually a modded console with onboard storage that let's you choose from games like this; my guess would be that it's an xbox and the games are all the roms they need for the gameshow.
