I agree fully on the idea that just because the old english version is different we shouldn't see it as inferior its still an authentic germanic poem and part of the pan germanic cultural osmosis in the end

I would love to look into the relation between Zeus and Tyr but unfortunately for now, that scholarship is way above my head
