Love how the kitty wanted to part of the video so bad lol 😻 I agree about not losing yourself for another... as I've have done a few times. However I also believe in helping each other grow positively. But when the other makes no attempt, and just starts to try to hide things more instead of getting better, then I have to say goodbye. Lying, cheating, and addictions, manipulating, mind games, emotional and psychological abuse, etc.

"Learning to hunt" can have a different meaning in modern times. We all still need to "learn to hunt," meaning, learning skills that allow us to express our individual strengths, and help us to survive and to thrive in our society. Mastering such skills gives us a sense of worth, strength and independence from those who may try to strong-arm us. That's how I see Uruz, anyway, in modern context.

To be strong enough to never have to sacrifice ourselves in order to grow or feel loved. To be patient, cunning, and self-sufficient, but to love the feeling of cooperation..oh, and to fully embrace your own sense of timing that allows you to overcome your adversaries just came to me, as well as to know that you can destroy easily enough but to fully be able to understand all that you end when you destroy something and why that was your best option according to the current understanding of ones own life.. I hope you dont mind the supplement, here, but I felt inspired, as I have always been a very successful hunter and see it as such a gift to have in life in self empowerment. When I first started reading, I thought to myself, uh oh, someone has an idea of what something "should be" especially something I feel so strongly about. You captured the true nature of what I have found in my own life. Thank you for this beautiful little gift!
@margaretwhitmer27152 жыл бұрын
@@iankenney6602 Thank you. To be a master hunter takes great skill and experience. Arith Harger is a master hunter in archaeology. Learning a skill that benefits you and others both makes you a part and sets you apart. The "hunt" lies is tracking down the skills that suit your innate talents best. Not to bore you, but I once wrote an ode to Uruz: "Being 'wild and free' comes at a price. One must be strong, to face the winter winds. One's hair must be long, one's hide thick, to survive the cruel blizzards, the hardships, the homelessness. One must plant all four hooves and bellow 'I am free and free I will stay.' Humankind's cattle have warm barns and all the hay they can eat; when their keepers grow hungry, they are the first to be sacrificed. But I - I am the one who licks the ice from the face of the world and brings it to life. And I am the first to taste the sweet grass of spring."

I want to learn to plan better like in my college writing days, but with these videos, I guess its like automatic writing. And I have to take whatever the unconcious or whatever is throwing at the world through me and support those parts of myself. Just growing pains of a much purer perspective I had run from for too long. I cannot wait to be done with this awkward reflecting period and begin to create beautiful tributes to nature and works of imaginatiob.. taking from all those dark experiences from before I actually found its all an illusion. nothing is as dark or evil as people would have you believe. What a time to be a life. Can you imagine being the first generation of writers of new mythology that could someday help people as they prepare for the unknowable changing of the cycle?! We all have masculine and feminine in us, we simply express in different levels and different ways. To recognize the existence of masculine and feminine energies is not backwards or unintelligent. It’s based in observations of the natural world and introspection on how our own traits and predilections overlap and match with these observations.

at 9 ;32 - who you talking to Dad??sweet This was really wonderful Arith - thankyou so much. Such wonderful insight on human condition; and some stuff that i enjoyed hearing right now. We can also 'give ourselves up' to family too much as well. Because that is some of my story - my other relationships have been better, becuase i learned from that other pain of being taken for granted etc. And not doing what i really wanted to- so a loss of myself at those times.

This time it was Gigi's turn to be curious lol. Relationships matter, but we mustn't forget of ourselves too. Some relationships we feel bond to, with a certain sense of loyalty even if such relationships are toxic, but we have been born into them and it feels like it would be wrong to try to end such relationships. But it isn't wrong to try to be happy and try to have a better life and self-care. If someone keeps abusing us, they are the ones at fault. Family is who we choose, just the same way we don't have to be who we were born into or what has happened to us. We are who we choose to be. I'm really happy to know you have enjoyed this one too. Wish you all the best dear friend :D

I reflected on Uruz this morning, that also could be called Ura (Rain). So for me personally, the Rune has dual meaning and it has very dynamic association with both bovine(wild or domisticated doesn't matter) and rain that fertilizies the soil. For me I feel very much Audhumbla in Uruz/Ura. Her milk rains down for Ymir to sustain himself. There is discussion that Uruz is the first rune in the Elder Futhark, which makes it Utharkf. If this is true or not is of no real importance in this regard but felt it as an inspiring perspective. All of these runic ponderings about Uruz/Ura inspired me a lot when it comes to some personal projects of mine. One that is a music project and the other a tabletop role-playing game.

In a book by Freya Aswan I read an interpretation of this rune as focusing on the auroch as a fierce , protective , untamed wild mother . I loved this ... the ferocity and strength associated with preserving life and also the milk of the untamed cow touches upon abundance. Nothing is as fearless and determined as a mother ( of any species) protecting her young .

I love it!!!! I connected this rune with the learning path of the Aries sign in astrology. The need to feel strong, independent and a leader, and to be approved despite of hiding their vulnerability with aggressiveness and impulsiveness... Until they finally understand that they don`t need to hunt aurochs to ensure their position in society and their freedom. hahaha 💕thanks for all the teaching and insights!

Grata!
@ArithHärger2 жыл бұрын
@danielag.ishikawa2 жыл бұрын

I believe that there is no true religion due to the fact no one has crossed over for more than a few moments and come back from the dead to talk about the afterlife. People are people and we will make of life what we can. Interesting thoughts you had in this video. People will always have to work together no matter what we want, and we should leave the world in a better way than what we found it. That's what we are remembered for after we die.
