John Matthews How are we going to get them over to the UK? Does anyone know if Ged or Alex has heard of these guys and what they are doing? Instagram? If anyone’s on that platform. They’d be pleasantly surprised. As I was. Long live the professor.. 🙏

Agree with all the great comments here.... Life long Rush fan and bass player inspired by Geddy.... These guys put in the time and they have the talent to pull this off! All Rush fans who are musicians themselves know EXACTLY how hard it is to replicate the greatest band ever. Really well done guys! Thank you for keeping the flame of Rush alive!

Agreed. Seen these guys live a few times. They're the real deal. Heard a rumor somewhere their guitarist started playing guitar after he saw a band play Ridin the Storm Out at a grade school talent show.

HOLY (Expletive!!!). (I’ve been binge watching your videos... you guys are amazing!) About 30 years ago Rick Wakeman said words to the effect that “Yes” was not a band as much as it was a style of music. I suppose that the caped crusader was talking about Prog - I think he was right. Bands like The Rush Tribute Project are brought-up in the prog oeuvre and right now it is a ‘tribute’ because the bands are still (kind of) with us (RIP Neil). In another 30 years, bands like this will be analogous to the symphony orchestras of the early 20th century. Keep up the GREAT work.

As Musicians, we are all inspired by the Great Original trio, apart from the fantastic authentic playing from the Guys here, I must say that the Vocals are just utterly brilliant. I mean it must have taken years to get them up to the standard offered here. FANTASTIC !

The audio is on point for real. And that Rickenbacker sound just like it should with that overdrive
@grahammiller90494 жыл бұрын
Apart from that annoying pick up/ fret click that is on every one of their videos when the Rick is used. It ruins what is otherwise a good job
@jackmomma74814 жыл бұрын
@@grahammiller9049 yeah, fret noise can be very annoying. That's when adding some compression comes into play. Compression and having the overdrive saturated at judt thr right level can help reduce a lot of that. The E and A string hitting the pickup poles actually sounds good wjen everything is set just right with the drive. Just listen to Jacob's Ladder from EXIT... STAGE LEFT... you'll notice that "crackle" sound as Geddy Lee is playing. That's what you want out of a RIC

Great Band and Performance. I have a question. The drum set is NOT a DW. Which one is it exactly and how did it get those R30 kind wrap design, or is it lacquered?
