'There is a political realism that needs to be injected on how we assess each other" ... Samir Saran said it bluntly. The West assumption that they know what's good for everyone needs to stop. Pretty lame discussion from the Western world representatives. The Finnish guy shows the classic inferiority complex of a little nation that was historically a 'province of Russia'. The woman who had a pretty irrelevant and poor contribution. Samir made it clear that the rest of the world does not want a unipolar world, because it basically it is on its way out. I prefer a multipolar world, where small and middle sized nations are able to have a bigger say and are able to align with whom they want. That gives them more power and chance to do things independently. As far as Europe is concerned, please get your act together. Every three to four decades your continent puts the whole world at risk. Now it is even more dangerous with nukes. Europe please solve your own problems and leave the rest of the world in peace.

India like others are looking for energy security and will definitely pick up cheap Russian energy. The distance and cost negates the discount. But, it is in India’s interest to have a healthy Russia. India has 55% of its weapons from Russia and therefore cannot afford them to go away. India is also trying to get Russia not to move firmly into China’s corner. The west unfortunately is trying very hard to push it there.

My point was that with military supplies dwindling and being intercepted and destroyed, Russia is likely to continue their advance, and the more territory they occupy, the more difficult it will become for Ukraine to "retake" their country on their own. It appears there will be a point of "too late," to be optimistic about Ukraine retaking all of its land.

Thank you . But we don't so proud in this fight, its terrible but it has to be done. Just now fresh m777 artillery are bombing civil Donetsk, there are no troops there , 20+ locals were killed . Its not explainable. Zelensky army is loosing and the last thing to do , is to bit any home or civil target with running back. Thats what we see from 2014, and thats what are happening RIGHT now. No one in MSM media will tell you this truth. You know what MSM did? They just swap russians with ukranians , all they taking its about Zelensky swap with Putin and everything will stand on places.

Too soon to make that mistake of precluding Russia's absence from future. One may like to see the future with absence of US, UK, China or say Germany for example from dominance from future. Again, assuming the entitlement of sitting in complete control forever has brought US allies out from the room, may not be the building. The institutions made by US and UK are, if anything, not founded on a peaceful future. It must have warring as its key business and the reasons would keep changing, then there are divisions and the reasons would keep evolving. The world is getting closer to ethics and reading the unethical within it, with time, and reading it loudly now, is the real truth that is most discomforting to those who sit with assumptions.

Thank you for clearing this up for me. The United States Government and the manner in which the U.S. banking system is wired is dangerous for American democracy. Banks in America unlike their Japanese counterparts are allowed to hold enormous amounts of equity in American corporations. If you extend this network of banks out over the sanctioning network, the E.U. and the Eurasian Continent you can see that the entire system is stacked in favor of the dual citizen elites and the internationalizations of the World. If you get my drift. The U.S. government owes it's soul to the wealthy elite. Representatives are bought and sold. It is no wonder that the U.S. Government were so eager to give the Zelenski regime 44 billion dollars and gave the American farmers 250 million to boost American fertilizer output. America needs that Russian fertilizer and that Wheat for Keloggs and other's. This proves that there is more going on than American job evaporation to Eurasia. Eurasia is nothing more than a bigger market for these international jet setters. The amount of corruption within the U.S. Government and the disconnects from America to the European Union, means that these people can evade tax and do whatever they want. Individual Nation States within the E.U have veto power, and have the final say in what they consider favorable policy concerning corporations. The E.E.A. is another layer of complexity and means that nobody is in control of public policy other than the U.S. led NATO situated in Washington D.C. U.S. government is operating outside of its territorial jurisdiction. This is a conflict of interest for the the Citizens of the U.S. and the Citizens of the E.U. It will not be long before riots will break out all across the world. Democracy as we know it has been hijacked by the elites. There is nothing new about this. It has happened multiple times throughout history. There is only one problem. This time these fools have Nuclear weapons and they are going to use them. Pull up fool.

I will suggest that the russia although late in becoming westernized power did participate in the western imperialism games (of which the united states was the last member to join). The european nations with a tradition of neutrality see that in a global conflict their neutrality may be more harmful than beneficial. For the rest of the world however they were often the victims of colonization and so they understandably aren't rushing to support their former masters having only recently regained their autonomy and so, perhaps understandably, will wait for the powers to settle this amongst themselves as their first order of business should be to preserve their autonomy. They are sympathetic for Ukraine as they too fought for the same cause in their past. If the west is surprised that the half the world did not join them in the economic sanctions they only need to look at a world map and recall how the world powers treated nearly half the world over the last few centuries.

@@williamyee3442 I'm African.. I don't give a f about Poland being colonized as I don't remember them lifting a finger to help the continent.. We as African's are tired of having to be sympathetic to Europe plights whilst France, England and US still push neo-colonialism to this day..

Some interesting conversations here. One thing world needs to do is fast track the development of electric transport. Move away from oil fast. Cheap cars, Trucks not these 50-100k cars no one can buy. Reducing the cost to transport, leads to reducing the cost of things we buy in shops.

@@joydot7620 lol, maybe I forget. Wouldn't Infrastructure like Power recharge stations happen much more quickly than cars or factories that make Ecars. once cheap EV's are been made they could pop up anywhere there is a power line and a bit of space. Only need a transformer and a plug.

@@matfudge1143 in our european neighbourhoods they were peppered around residential streets. in uk they put them in stupid, inaccessible places. they are clumped in large numbers with roof oversailing etc - like a petrol station - makes zero sense but that what unaccountable dispersant of grants from eu & corruption land us with.

@@matfudge1143 one & same. My father a transit systems designer so I grew up surrounded by it & can’t understand why we are where we are at this point. Cars of any kind don’t belong in cities, clean brilliant maglev which he was on design team for ignored in the west while China pinched the tech & installed it everywhere they could. I despair.

Wishful thinking from a bunch of people who live in their own world. I guess they purposefully excluded Russians or Chinese from this discussion so that they can dream on unchallenged and without interruption in their own little echo chamber.
