As Levi said, "I've spent the last 30 years chasing that same feeling I got as a little kid". I think it's safe to say, we all chase that feeling of when we shot are first deer, and the memories that come along with it. Absolutely love this.. as I’m lucky and blessed enough to live in the Midwest… I absolutely love watching Levi doing what Levi does. The rut is so special and so amazing. Levi is definitely living my dream. Congratulations on a true stud! My dad started taking me hunting before I could even walk. Spent many of hours in the woods with my dad as a youngster. My brother “much older than me” bought me my first compound when I was 10 years old, got me setup, dialed in and took me hunting and I was able to harvest my first buck that year. Needless to say that lit a fire inside me that still to this day is burning. There’s nothing I’d rather do than chase these magnificent creatures that roam the woods. Living in Indiana I’ve been blessed with harvesting some very nice bucks over the years with my archery equipment.

I am a late onset hunter who grew up on my dad's stories of hunting whitetail in the great state of PA. Our family never really lived in an area that provided regular hunting opportunity but we made do with occasional hunting adventures ranging from whitetail in PA to wild pigs in the Florida swamps. I loved the adventures and just the pursuit of chasing wild animals and trying to better them at the game that they have perfected. We finally moved to TN and in our first season i shot a spike with a bow and have been absolutely hooked ever since the moment i walked up on him laying not fifty yards from where i put an arrow through both lungs. I live for (as I'm sure we all do) the wild places hunting takes us, the adventures that happen in those places, and the anticipation of absolute monsters slipping up in their game to provide an opportunity that i can take advantage of. If you don’t get chills throughout watching this film and reminisce on times that you have felt the same way I don’t know what to tell you. From a “little kid” I have dreamed to make it this far as demonstrated in the film. I wouldn’t call it a grind as I love to do it but a blessing because of the work I’m willing to put towards this sport and any outcome will be greatly appreciated. As years pass I consider progress as my goal in terms of learning and success.

My father and grandfather instilled the love and passion for whitetail hunting in me as a child. I grew up in south New Jersey and spikes and forked horns were all you had to go after. I remember the look in my grandfathers eyes when he took me hunting and I was blessed with the chance of six point buck. I think he was happier than I was! He’s gone now and watching this video brought up some great memories! So thank you. Awesome video and awesome buck! Huge fan of Levi Morgan and the products in this video.

Mr. Morgan, thank you for posting "The Rut". Truly enjoyed it! I primarily hunt Michigan and I’ve never seen a buck like the one you shot in the video. I have shot 4, 6, 8 pointers but noting like that. As you described in the video, I too get that feeling every single time I go out on a hunt. Been doing it now for more than 50 years. God Bless!

Every time I harvest a deer (big or not) the overwhelming feeling of emotions, and the feeling of thankfulness surges. Have been going back and rewatching all of Levi’s videos after listening to the Born and Raised Outdoors podcast with the Morgan brothers with them.
