Awesome hunt! Congrats on a great ram! It's kinda weird thinking about waiting 20+ years for a tag and it's over in a few hours of actual hunting! Just to clarify one point for a few watchers who may not be aware, the the Sheep tag itself is not once-in-a -lifetime, it's the harvesting of a Sheep! One could technically draw a 2nd tag if their tag wasn't filled on the 1st opportunity (Pts would be lost so it might take awhile)! Lol

What a sweet hunt. I had the pleasure of drawing a Paunsagunt Buck Tag in 2011 and hunted the Whitel Cliffs above Kanab Utah. Got a 4x4 that was the biggest body deer I had taken. Love that part of the country! Miss it often.

But the ram was clearly facing away I don’t know the whole story so I can’t sit here and be a keyboard warrior which it probably seems I am, I personally would have waited for a better shot I guess is what I am saying.
