Man ur criminally underrated, I don't think there's another channel on KZbin that teaches an entire masterclass that too for free.The dedication you have for this channel is wild, I'm sure ur channel will blow up someday soon. Thanks for this masterclass!

Im commenting on every video while finishing this master class 😂 But there is one thing i don't fully understand it's when we play the break a4 sometimes you do somw time you dont and there response they can push or move the rock or defend the pawn or tacking so can you sum it for me ?
@ChessGeek114 күн бұрын
a4 is often a good move to throw in, especially after dealing with the center (ex: after d4, and perhaps d5). It can be helpful to allow white to open up files. To understand when a4 is best/appropriate, I would recommend going through some example games.

thank you so much for this masterclass! its really usefull. A sugestion that i could make for a next course could be a repertorie against the main variations of the sicilian playing with white (for example, you could cover one response line to the kan sicilian, the najdorf sicilian, dragon sicilian and so on to have a repertorie against the different sicilian players

Yeah, this is a good idea! Thank you :)

can you make a masterclass on the winawer french next? (just the winawer all the other things like advance, tarrasch, exchange is not that hard to understand) i like the attacking ideas but the winawer is very complicated and anish giri does not explain the ideas properly in his short&sweet french course (maybe bcoz anish giri's job is not to babysit intermediate bozos). also i like the king's indian and i get the same closed positions in the winawer. 7. Nf3 is easy to understand because you always get a similar type of position, but as soon as i went to 7. a4 i got quickly overwhelmed. i really like how you make your KID and ruy lopez courses cohesive and understandable and i feel like you could try and analyze the fun but unfortunately inaccessible winawer and help people like me understand it better

Hey! Thank you for the comment. At some point I want to expand to many openings, french winawer included, but I think first will be other openings like Catalan or Sicilian.

I will be so sad facing d3 as I won't be able to play Marshall anymore.... God I love playing Marshall as black, it's so fun

Yeah, d3 really is a practical choice as White -- Black won't expect it :)

I think I’ve commented on evert video in this master class 😂. Quick question aside from ruy Lopez but I remember about a year or two ago you used to have the art or attacking chess videos that was back when I was a beginner and they just disappeared some day. Was that because of DMCA or smth? Or can you still post those somewhere because I’m still interested to watch the videos
@ChessGeek13 ай бұрын
Yeah, I noticed your comments :) Thanks for the support. Regarding the art of attack, yeah, it won't be coming back, unfortunately.
