Malik would have helped us trade buckets - missed baskets leads to transition and when you have a cheat code like Giannis driving down hill and Lilliard/Green sniping from a distance games like last night will happen. I find solace that the effort was always there!

My biggest takeaway from this game is that we’re still in need of a solid defensive 4 or 5 behind Sabonis. We have no paint protection and I understand we’re playing Giannis but we just allowed the most points in a quarter this year and there were exploiting that

Malik is more important to this team than Fox. NOBODY runs that 2 man game with Domas the way Monk does. Fox isnt the playermaker or passer that Monk is.

We can argue that physicality isn’t there, everytime we bring it into the game the opposing team goes to the line 40 times in one night. Fox didn’t get to the line once and was getting fouled left n right.

I think the returning of Fox in the starting rotation disturbed the consistency of their plays. With Fox starting the effectiveness of Monk ,Ellis, Lyles and Carter. The kings started running and made a lot of mistakes. They gave up 130 points. The kings cannot win if they play like this. Try Fox the sixth man against the rockets and see what happens.If the kings win then it is about time to re-evaluate Fox credibility. Doug should stick to his original starters because it is working. If not then the kings are Looking for another skid. I hope not.

Anytime we lose Monk, we play terribly, think back to the beginning of this season with his ankle injury for two weeks. Think back to the end of last season when he went out for two weeks. Dropped from the 5th seed to the freaking 10th seed. He's VITAL!! VITAL TO THIS TEAM.

Bad take. You should say Monk is a better distributor of the basketball. Monk has a better 2 man game with sabonis. Honestly Fox is a true terror when attacking the basket areas. When he's downhill he can get to his spots. That's how they utilize him best... Playing fast and not letting the defense get them into slow half court sets.

We have a major issue when Sabonis sits and an issue guarding the perimeter, have had these same issues for years and not addressed them. We need a Back-up center and better wing defense. I really think addressing these two issues solves a lot of our weakness's...

In my opinion, it's going to take 48 wins for the Sacramento Kings to escape the play-in zone and finish in the top six in the West. The Kings must avoid losing streaks of four or more games. A couple of those and they're either in the play-in zone or worse out of the playoff picture altogether.

I watched the highlights of the entire game. It was an even game. The decider: Points from shots that went in-n-out for the kings: 21!!! in-n-out for the bucks: 6-9. And the and-ones for the bucks were crucial, happened when the kings were on a run. And Fox missed every shot in the last 10min of Q4. So yeah, nothing to worry. Just was not their night!

After the first quarter I already understood how it would end. Let's say that it was unimaginable to emerge from this east mini-tour with 3 wins out of 3, so having brought home two is a great success. Unfortunately, in this one, you faced a Bucks team who had one of the best performances (if not the best) of the season, coincidentally, against the Kings 😒. Then Monk, one of the best players in this stretch, was missing, so it became even more difficult. So, we can't ask for too much. The fact is that in 7 out of 8 games you won the last quarter and you almost always held your opponent under 30 points, so you have to start from here because now there is a triptych of home games that you absolutely have to win.

So they ran into a pissed off Bucks team fresh off a curb stomping. Also those refs called the game two different ways depending on the jersey, now that being said they had one bad quarter without a top player and still put up a fight. It was a minor disappointment given it was still a 7 game streak and a 2 and 1 road trip. The Kings put a big enough push after being down 28 to make the Bucs play their starters bigger minutes to hold off a collapse. The Greek Freak was on one and there wasn't anything anyone in the NBA could have done about that. So DC is 7-2 and has them back in the thick of it, and it's just different. Maybe Monte can find a decent 4 or 5 to add to this rotation. I would have been interested to see if Issiac Jones could have given DC a few minutes earlier to slow that freight train down

One thing I learned is , this team is worse off without monk then fox. Monk is a better pg then fox. Meaning, creating plays for other players, running the offense and assisting the ball. That’s game last night was mike brown type off game. Fox 9-23fg, 6 assists and 4 turnovers. Ehh

It’s sad to say but I do feel Fox is hurting the chemistry of this team and it started when he came out public about his agent and him not wanting to resign. Gotta trade him while we still can.

At this point, Fox is no longer a key component of the team. And how to treat him is purely business decision. He (especially his agent) will want maximum money, and they are known for bullying/pushing team. Fox is not a max guy. Save and use the future money to complete the team, get maximum value (talentwise) in trading him soon. And remember, when fox is 30, he is not likely to be as fast as he is now, and will kill the team by chucking more 3s!!!
