And secondly, consider trading Fox at the end of the season, only if the deal is too good to pass up. Carter is still not ready for consistent 15-20 or more min. per game. In my opinion 10-15 for at least 10-15 games is better for him. I agree with the minutes shaved off from the starters. Like Fox's min, 32-33. I see a lot of the OKC games SGA plays like 30-32 min a game, does his job. If game is really tight stays for 35-37. So they stay fresh. With Carter getting more used to the team and getting better physically. Him @ 15-20min and keon 25min should be a must every game. Hey but sometimes they will also have an off night. So it doesnt really matter as long as the team is winning! :)

Team, coach is a bit in a trap atm. We really needed more mins for ellis in this game, bulls were so hot from 3pt. But doug is locked. He cant bench monk and risk to damage momentum. But with time it will hurt us really hard. I hope doug will find a way to try ellis at SF at least for few mins. Atm we have such a good guards squad. We are really lucky about that. Atm all we need is to trade huerter for a wing. Thats it. And that wing soesnt even need to be a star just workable 3&d player for 15-20 mins. Come on monte you can do it, it is such a low risk move..

I’m glad the Kings are winning. I’m glad Doug is getting a coaching opportunity and seeing success. Im still worried about Vivek. The word is that the decision to fire Brown came from up above and perhaps Monte is wasn’t on board with it (at least at that moment). If Vivek did make the call, and it turns out to be the right call. The meddling owner gets the feather in his cap. Does he respect Monte’s decision making now? Does he think he gets to make more decisions?

Some of y'all are so dramatic. Having conversations about the possibility of a Fox trade, and doing an episode with other team hosts on what a trade could look like, does not mean I am pushing for him to be traded. If I was, I was just say "the Sacramento Kings need to trade De'Aaron Fox", which I haven't said because I am not there yet. Just like the Kings aren't.

So you acknowledge MB was a big problem this season, but for last season you go right back to blaming the roster construction? Who said MB wasn't the biggest problem last season as well?

@LivinProoof I'm asking a sincere question.. if MB was a big problem this year, why couldn't it be that we missed the playoffs last season because of MB? For example he DNPed Keon about 15 of 20 games leading to the allstar break, which cost a few wins imo But instead, Matt attributes the underachievement last season to roster flaws (giving MB a pass) despite acknowledging MB was a big problem this year. Doesn't really make sense

@@TheStarsShineForYou No I totally agree, I've been against Mike Brown for a while. But I also don't expect everyone to agree with that, or also not realize he was the issue at that time. Seeing this success without him surely makes it a lot easier. However, it should have been insanely clear that Ellis needed more playing time that was clearly Mike Brown's biggest mistake. It was incredibly stupid.

@@LivinProoof The media has been very pro-MB, very anti-Monte. Now that it's becoming less and less defensible how pro-MB they've been, they hold on tight to their anti-Monte narrative. I think that's their "hill to die on" so to speak (unless they want to actually answer my question so I can better understand their thinking)

This winning streak is the worst possible thing that could have happened. The front office was going to convince themselves Mike was the problem anyway, this just delays them facing the consequences for their actions and leaving us in limbo until they’re finally gone

Winning is never the worst thing in sports. This franchise lost a lot of games for a long time and it brought them nothing. If it turns out Christie is the right coach then it will work out.

Trade Fox, you are rebuilding. Sac won’t ever get a talent like THAT in a trade or FA. Domas DeMar and Monk aren’t carrying a team anywhere lol

@gjwaters
@gjwaters 26 күн бұрын
One problem is that carter, munk, and fox are all the same type of player. The kings could do a trade but it largely depends on for who and who wants to stay in Sac. If fox is committed to Sac then keep him, if not trade him but for who? He wants to be on a good team so this is a tuff one because the good teams would have to let go of one of their best players.

Trading fox 🦊 is ridiculous! Bro had been nothing but professional since entering the league!! Unless he wants to leave, give bro a team and staff that want to win! Besides management making stupid decisions; like you mentioned about the Kings lack of trade capitalization. The kings have been up and down on their decision making in my opinion. . The Kings do need to address some holes in the roster, but need to do so without losing any roster assets! They can’t ruin chemistry like you mentioned..

If Fox gets on board with his teammates and is all in then definitely don't trade Him. When He's going on rival teams podcast and basically saying his teammates aren't good enough in an adverse time was absolutely not a good look or showing any kind of leadership. When have you once EVER hear Cade Cunningham throw his players under the bus last year when they lost 27 straight games? Or ask to be traded? Literally not once did He. I honestly don't even believe He even entertained the thought and came even close to asking for a trade. That's a REAL leader. Fox was definitely a leader two years ago and last year for the most part. But he has to buy all the way In with his teammates or they are better off without Him. No one needs a star player with one foot in and one foot out. Your either all in or your all out. PERIOD
