Bro I was shocked when I heard the C string, I did know it could go that low. On cello that'd be fourth finger first position on the G string and that's mainly why I was shocked, but to be fair I hadn't heard a viola in months unfortunately. I've seen a lot of your videos pop up on my recommended and I think it's great what you do. Some people take viola jokes too far, and like I'll joke a bit, but it's not really my forte and I haven't had experience with any bad actual violists. In our school orchestra, the violas are probably better that 90% of our orchestra and no one can say otherwise. Again, I love the work you do and I hope to see more of it!

I just want to say. I played Viola 9 years through school, put it down when I went to college but was recently looking to pick it up again just for the joy of it. In doing a little research last week that's the first time that I even found out viola jokes were a thing! I always felt respected in all my years playing viola by the violinists, cellists, and bassists. I think that's how it should be, everyone has a very beautiful part!

Hello James ! You probably don't remember, but two years ago during this "Play with TwoSet" challenge, I left you a comment. You weren't the Viola King yet and you posted a video reacting to TwoSet reacting to you (😄). I told you how much I appreciated the way you chose to feature the viola. You managed to display this instrument in an amazing way. Since then, you created this other channel and used your platform to talk about the viola jokes issue. I loved that you did it in a smart and respectful way, without antagonising anyone. And it paid off! Your Viola King channel is very successful and TwoSet took your feedback into account, doing their best to tone the viola jokes down. (Of course old habits die hard and sometimes Brett and Eddy can't help it, but I feel that we're going the right way...) Viola is a beautiful sounding instrument that deserves more love (and more repertoire!) and your channel is a great place to learn to appreciate it more. This is beautiful! I love the sound of the viola a lot more than the violin, it’s so much richer and lacks the shrillness in the highest tones. I just went back to watch this again because I liked it so well yesterday and I went "I didn't notice earlier that the tempo is so fast" because I didn't realise that I still had the 1.25 playback speed on from the previous video I'd watched... So now I can confirm that this is very pleasant to listen to at 1.25 times the speed too
