His swan neck flasks have held bone broth for 100 years without ever becoming contaminated. Terrence may have some seriously wrong claims, but having these far reaching theories is what facilitates progression.
@DrSpoculusАй бұрын
Terrence is smart. He knows a lot about math and science. More than most know about those subjects. He APPLIES his knowledge wrong. He's the smartest person in his group, so he needs higher level people to be around to show him how things really work, to bridge the gap he has from being self-taught. BUT, I do get what you're saying. In comparison, joe is the terrence howard of comedy. Thinks he is changing the world and smarter than the average bear because he has money, and money controls everything. The 1+1 thing is actually a gramatics riddle, using a word in two different ways. It doesn't change math as terrence suggests. It just points out that math guys aren't words guys, so the math guys chose the wrong word to describe the multiply function. When a gremlin gets wet IT multiplies. Take that 7 and multiply IT 5 times. Both require an "IT" to multiply...... grammaticly. That's it. That's where the confusion comes from. 1 times 1 is different than SAYING 1 multiplied 1 time..... but not in math. Math uses both meanings in the same way, interchangeably. This is wrong, but the numbers are right. Words don't govern how numbers work, and vice versa.

I think what really started the downfall was Joe really leaning into nicotine. Now he’s so tweaked out he won’t shut up. What made Joe so great was that he could sit and listen to people rant for 10-20 or even 30 minutes at a time, chyme in with a question that either built off of the rant or challenged it softly, allowing for more great either intellectual rants or comedic rants. Now because he’s so tweaked out he can’t shut up and interrupts people constantly damn near like Bert. He also has always been a guy who talked about the same 5 things. Go back to his early shows, it was always Bigfoot, aliens, space, marijuana legalization and or being insanely high, and then comedy. He only ever discussed those few things back then and then it was carnivore diet, exercise, vitamins, fights, and comedy. Like Joe has always only sat on four or five solid topics in his entire podcast catalog. What made him great was he didn’t need to talk at all. He was an excellent interviewer and conversationalist when he lets others lead. Now he’s so domineering that it tanks every show and people are forced to listen to the same podcast every time with him. He needs to cut out the nicotine, cut down on the booze, and just go back being high where he would zone out and listen.

Crazy part is that Brendan actually left a stamp on comedy that won’t be forgotten and is in meme history. Obviously it’s not the type of publicity Brendan wanted, but it’s notorious and Joe has left no such stamp of his own (while doing comedy for like 25 years). Joe sees a clip on Twitter and doesn’t do any basic research to see if it’s actually true; then he goes on to bring it up on the podcast and parrot it as truth. Makes himself look like a complete dumbass. He also has a very basic, elementary understanding of politics, so it’s just a chore to listen to him ramble on about anything political. I think the main issue with Joe is that the fame finally went to his head. He used to be the “average Joe” that we could all relate to. Now he’s just an out-of-touch super rich celebrity whose only real problems are deciding between a cold plunge or his isolation tank. The guy is not relatable anymore.
