I really enjoyed the first 2 seasons. Charlie’s reactions and comebacks to things were just hilarious, and i enjoyed his interactions with jake. I’d say jake started to act real stupid around season 4/5, just been rude and straight up dumb, and he just became more annoying from then. You hit the nail on the head with alan, again, i enjoyed his character the first 4/5 seasons but he just became more of a scrub, and became irritating. I’m wondering if they got new writers around then, because they just made characters less likeable by that point lolX I’ve only watched the post charlie seasons once, but really did not enjoy them at all lol. I’ll happily watch the first 4/5 seasons, some real good laughs there, but past there it feels like they just ran out of ideas. Great video guys!

I hate that people chuck (no pun intended) this show in with The Big Bang Theory. Two and a Half Men is genuinely funny. One of the main criticisms is that it's mean spirited, but this seems to be an American problem. The US audience seems to love their happy, optimistic sitcoms. As a Brit, we love gallows humour. Obvious example being the difference between the US Office vs UK Office.

It's no doubt that the show was definetly killed after Charlie got fired. However, the last seasons with Charlie were losing steam, the writing had got monotonous and the characters had no progress at all. Season 8 was very sad. Season 1-5 were absolute GOLD.

I know it’s easy to just divide the show’s Quality into before and after Charlie’s departure and that everything happening from Season 9 onwards was crap. But I don’t see that. For me, I’d rate those seasons as followed: S9: 3/10, S10: 5/10, S11: 8/10 and finally season 12: 2/10. The reason I like season 11 so much was because of Jenny and the love triangle between Lindsey, Alan/Jeff and Larry.

Just to add, talking about charlie going to apologise: he did apologise to the women, but also had sex with them all too. He later saw on the hate forum that they all spoke about him visiting them and having a quickie, so all those women do hate him again lol. I do still think having them spit on him was a little overboard. It just felt like a childish tantrum from chuck lorre lol

After watching a bunch of these 2 and half men hate videos I went back and watched the first few seasons the past couple weeks and I gotta say, I laughed out loud quite watching this show. And I’m a bit of high brow tv snob. I can’t speak to the later seasons as I have only watched a few episodes here and there, but the early seasons are really funny.

Two and A Half Men was basically the Charlie Sheen Show. Replacing Charlie Sheen on TAAHM is like trying to replace Will Smith on Fresh Prince. Without Charlie Sheen there is no show. Simple as that.

TAAHM was on the way down before Charlie Harpur (Charlie Sheen) was fired. Jake had stopped being cute. Once his voice broke was the relegated to the dumb kid loser role. Alan was not showing any personal growth throughout the series. He became repulsive in the reboot with Ashton Kutcher Charlie Harpur's character became meaner and less charming as Charlie Sheen's life descended into chaos.

I'm not gonna claim that Two and a Half men was the pinnacle of humor but it wasn't trying to be. Its about a middle aged playboy living the good life while dealing with the parasite called his brother. Charlie might be a playboy but he isn't malicious. He doesn't do anything illegal(not too serious in any case) he just likes having fun. Charlie is a goofball but he's not evil. This is why I hated his 'funeral' it seemed way to meanspirited for a guy that wasn't evil. It felt like the producers were just taking out their real life issues with Sheen on a fictional character.

The nature of sitcoms and success are sitcoms own worst enemy. Every sitcom goes thru the same thing. Take friends. Monica starts off little OCD and overly competitive. People laugh at those things so lets make her a lot more competitive and a lot more OCD driven. Same thing with 2-1/2 men, Alan starts off as a typical divorcee broke because all his money goes to the ex. Then they just keep making him cheaper and cheaper. The ongoing gag is that Alan sets off most peoples gaydar and people laugh, so what do we do make him more gay. Alan is always a little creepy but in a kind and simple kind of way by the time Ashton shows up Alan could be driving a van thru school zones with Free Candy on the side.

Love charlie and then rose and later gordon and herb best episode s are the halloween with the witch and then the mom chasing her off also the mom reminds me of my mom without momey and i loved candi and the episode where the dad of Candi gets with Judy and the mom gets with charlie and alan and Candi in the hot tub also the episode where rose takes care of charlie when he's sick him acting like hes drunk was the worse acting he ever did cant act drunk never liked jake or judy. Once charlie left the show it went from a male chauvinist pog to a everyone's gay I defiantly stoped watching then all though I liked the episode ehere alan and charlie pretended to be guy for the party at his work associate s home that was extra funny it was and still is one of my all yime favorite shows till the best part left charlie after that it total sucked and i have never wstched a full episode of i liked the secretary of alan that alan got with ehere him and her mom eat pot laced cookies or Brownies where they are cought in bef together trying to make the color purple
