I couldn't do it!! These other MMOs are just not BDO. The combat systems are so bad, it's crazy to me that BDO, which was released in 2104, still reins supreme with the best combat system of any game I have played. Of course this is all just personal preference and opinion, but we are all entitled to that! hell yeah! on your "im leaving bdo" video I left a comment basically saying that it's good to take breaks but that you'd definitely be back because no other MMO does what BDO does. haha, it's good to be right and it's good to see you back. in the next couple months you should hopefully have some progression you can get done, we'll hopefully get the ator shoes and the new artifacts, those will be relatively cheap compared to other end game shit.

Agreed, I think I just sank to far into the enhancement system and really lost track of what I loved about the game, the combat and life skilling!!! There is so much to enjoy, but I will never burn silver gambling again. It's so toxic and not for me lol. Thanks for supporting my work!!!

Did the same thing at some point, took a break for a few years before returning. I don't gamble anymore and progress has been nice and consistent. Sure it feels like it's taking more time but I refuse to loose my progress to the crap RnG system anymore, I try not to even talk to people that enhance for profit so it doesn't influence my decisions.

Yeah that's the smart way to progress. but honestly I blew up my gear just so I didn't feel like playing anymore haha. I really do not like the direction that PA is taking the game. It was a PVP game for me with PVE used as a means to get stronger in PVP. But they are slowly removing the kind of PVP I enjoy (open world). I basically exclusively played on Arsha and people only bitch about being killed there now and don't want to PVP. So there really isn't a point in me playing anymore. That being said.. the worst thing about BDO is that there isn't a better MMO out there like Putman put it. So I imagine I'll end up on BDO again at some point. Just 680 instead of 730 lmao. @@IcyBenjis

This is the sad truth of today's mmo market. If you like other aspects of MMOs like story or social interaction in the virtual world then there are other options. But if your like me and you play MMOs for the combat system then BDO is just to OP. Thanks for checking out the video!!

sadly the classes changed... its nightmare for me i played as succession sorceress its fun fast jump pack to pack. but by pressing too many buttons for long time my wrist got hurts... until i made valkyrie i love it 2 buttons and work.... not anymore tho goodbye BDO

There are other low apm classes that are also really good too. Awakening guardian is very easy on your hands and can produce a good amount of profit while grinding. Another good on is succ ranger, I haven't been able to try the class out yet after the buffs but it is on my list to do so. Then you can always go with the trusty Zerk, hold right click then hit right left click for the spin to win ez mode and pull massive numbers too. Hope you can find another class you can enjoy!!

If you love the idea of spending countless hours grinding in circles, doing the exact same thing for your entire gaming experience and then see it all go down the drain when you fail an upgrade and have to start all over again then for sure BDO is the game for you. I personally prefer to have more of challange running a dungeon trying to get that piece of gear than to spend another 10h grinding in circles just to gamble it all on a 10% success rate. Oh and did I mention that upgrade won't even make much of a difference? BDO is a casino game where the money is your time and the slot machines are all broken

Yup, if you play the game like that then you're setting yourself up for the exact same path I went down when I quit the game a few months ago and a few years ago lol. Now I am just enjoying the combat, community, and content creation. Its all about preceptive and mindset. Also, in terms of content there is a lot more to do than just grind. BDO has boss modes, lifeskilling, sea content, open world gathering and exploring, and soon a permanent arena mode that is actually fun.

I've gone through what you just did. Bdo->Archage unchained ->FFXIV->GW2->New World -> back to BD. I even played a bit of Diablo4 and made it to Lrgendary1 in Warfame. I put the same energy into those games as I did Bdo and found them quite un-rewarding at “end-game”. Some had better communities I'm not gonna lie, but most all lacked the seemingly endless progression of BDO. BDO was far from my first MMO. I've been playing MMOs hardcore since 2003

It's crazy how bdo just draws you back in, the end game content is crazy. There's just so much to do especially with the land of morning light and now permanent arena of solare. I'm sorry, this next part is not directed at you specifically but at the real state of the game from a new player’s perspective without gear. I submitted the below to a GM first, who cleared it of any false claims. Attention all gamers! It is crucial that you are aware of the false claims being made about Black Desert Online (BDO) as a viable MMO. Let me be clear: it is not. Although the game's mechanics allow for a quick start to endgame, it will take you a lengthy 6+ months per piece of endgame gear, meaning you will likely never see endgame if you purchase your gear with the in-game currency. This is due to the game's 13 slots that require a PEN ranking, which is the endgame. Furthermore, the game is heavily based on gambling, making it a genuine possibility that you may never reach the endgame if you are unlucky in going the primary route of enhancing your gear, as it is very likely you will fail the enhancement and have your gear reduced in rank or destroyed! But that's not all. The game also has severe penalties while grinding mobs, making it even more difficult to progress. The complex crystal system in the game also allows you to break your crystal(s) on death, potentially setting you back 1-20+ hours of grinding and up to a month in waiting for the market to replace crystals that you will be unable to get on your own. Finally, there are several Pay to Win mechanics sold in the Cash Shop. While BDO's super small community is actively trying to get them to change some of these glaring issues, so far, the Developers have stated they are not interested in changing gambling, pay-to-win items, or mechanics designed to stop your progression and likely even regress it. Don't be fooled by false claims; choose a game that values its players. For several years, the majority of the small community in BDO has been imploring Pearl Abyss to reconsider the current system whereby accessories are destroyed upon a failed enhancement. We have fervently requested that gear not suffer a permanent decrease in stats as a result of a failed enhancement, and have pleaded for a mechanism to protect the crystals, which are essential for endgame activities, from destruction due to various factors such as desync, lag-spikes, and PVP feeding to mobs. Regrettably, Pearl Abyss has consistently declined all of our appeals. We urge players to select a game that prioritizes the well-being of its community, which the developers of Black Desert Online clearly do not.

I played BDO since release on playstation.. It's 5 years or so?! a long time anywayz.. My PS4 died somewhere at the end of covid.. And that time I couldn't get my hands on a PS5.. I finally got myself a PC.. Starting from scratch is awefull I did the potions twice.. I went to 600 energy now twice.. I leveled up several classes now twice.. I'm just so burned out on the game now.. So I dl FF14.. I bought subscription for 6 months (I was dedicated lol) Played for a week.. logged back into this stupid BDO game.. ugh😂 What I really don't understand.. is that PA in 2023, almost 2024.. still doesn't have cross save! No need for cross play.. but just cross save So many games can do it.. but PA.. nope.. well no matter what happenends in the future but there is no way I would ever go from scratch again haha.. I just hate this game! 😂

Lost ark has the toughest raids (pve challenge) and also very cool combat. Not only will you struggle and progress as a gamer, but your character also, a lot. Alongside bdo, these are my 2 favorite combat in mmorpg but i have to admit, comming from 10 + years if league of legends, i enjoy LOA's combat a bit more. Try it out too u may enjoy

As someone who has over 3354 hours of family playtime, and is currently playing BDO right now and bought all the Black Friday Pearlbox deals, I can tell you, BDO is the only MMO where if you get hacked or banned, it will be a blessing in disguise. It's trash, its a waste of electricity and your time. Most of it's content is dead, Forums are heavily moderated, The game pretends to be a P2W game but the only winner is Pearl Abyss, since the more you spend the deeper your hole is. Anyone recommending this game is like that guy selling you Fentanyl in the streets.
