Those stats don’t tell the whole story though. You need to include how much PT he’s getting and extrapolate it over 40 minutes. I doubt he is playing more than 10 minutes a game, so he’s still learning the NBA game, lifestyle, traveling, nutrition, and living on his own, most likely. Give Zaire Wade a break. He’s NOT his dad, who grew up and wasn’t highly recruited until late in his senior year and Marquette was the best offer he received. He didn’t play his freshman year due to being a partial qualifier academically, but improved his game a ton and started showing his skills and basketball IQ and athletic ability his sophomore year. Zaire might be a late bloomer, but he also may not be as “hungry” as his dad was because he hasn’t had the financial challenges his dad faced as a kid, teen, and young guy. Let’s see where Zaire is in a year or two before we check him off as just hype.

I think Zaire will be coo. Ofc he’s not performing great right now but there’s no need to write someone off right away. Everyone is expecting him to play at this crazy level already when the shit takes time. Kid is 20 years old and played in the g league for one year and we’re saying he won’t make it. If Zaire continues to work stay in the gym and improve I think he’ll be coo even if he’s in the g league there’s millions of other players that aren’t in the g league. Cut the kid some slack

hes in the g league because of his dad lol not because he earned it.

@@bx3054 that’s fine lol what is he not supposed to take the help from his dad who played in the league. Melo put gelo on so what’s the problem.

@@myronbrooks887 melo isnt an OWNER of the hornets lol he cant just put ppl on the team like D Wade did. this is nepotism and it wont last for Zaire so he better get better at ball or start coaching high school lol
@myronbrooks8872 жыл бұрын
@@bx3054 Ik he isn’t the OWNER can’t put out people on the team 😂 but bringing him around as you workout and playing w the team in open runs is putting him on and putting him in a position to get noticed

They'll be fine if they develop THE DOG OF WAR mentality their fathers experienced lol. You have to play with guys who AREN,T PRIVILEGED. You need the floaters against paint bullies and embracing contact/bullying that comes from at leat 3-4 years of playing against grown men who don't mind disrespecting youngbloods lol. Its the biggest difference between privileged kids who don't have grit and poorer kids who make it to the highest level

There’s nothing wrong w getting another year of high school or going to a prep school. Players reclass and decide to make those decisions based on what they feel is best for them. There should b no knock on taking that chance on yourself. Just cuz you wouldn’t doesn’t mean that player who feels they are good can take that chance at getting more offers. Weather it’s from a big d1 school or not. D1 offer is a d1 offer something millions of players don’t get to play at the next level.

Opportunity to give him a great life? Lmao like he ain't been had a great life since birth. I think that it's way less him trying to give him a "great life" and way more stroking his son's ego by giving him something he doesn't deserve.
