He was great player but the goat thats alittle bit of an overstetch. Thats like saying lebron is the goat. Nope sorry. Just cause they were best of there generation doesnt make them the goat. That term is thrown around to easily. Yes there both top 10 players alltime. But neither are close to jordan or wilt chamberlin by a long shot. Than u got players like bill Russell also best of there time who fall somewere between these guys. But calling kobe or lebron or anyone of the best of thr generation players the goat is not only wrong use of the term but also an insult to the tru goat cause that means somthing being the grestest ever and ur weakening the term cslling any great player the goat. When Kobe and J.Kidd got on the team the turned USA Basketball back to being dominant again....thats how great that man was
@mattb14464 жыл бұрын
Really. Team usa is supposed to dominate. We have a team of 12 nba stars. The other countries may have a couple nba players. But not all stars big difference i mean manui waa great player but he was 6th man not all star not mvp ect and even if he was. There's still 12 of them on team usa. And they still never be the dream team. We shouldve never fell off or lostba single game since startrd using nba players. But got cockles and had wrong coach that allowed it to happen. So I wouldn't give kobe and kidd the credit all the teams had the star power to dominate. It was the coaching getting them to play as a team and to put representing country 1st and formost and put trying to dominate individually 2nd. Cause any of the players couldve been the main guy and dominate but it was bout team ball. Remember original dream team and who they had and who actualy led team in stats. Barkley led team on paper despite jordan and all other stars on team. Barkley one of best all time but not better than jordan probably 4th or 5th best on team of 12 which great when best players in world. So why didnt jordan or other guys led team in stats. Csuse they played team ball and barkley had bettrr match-ups plus he rebounded and ran court team ball u reward those players u dont take the shot urself like these guys do today. Plus if they doubling and tripling jordan or the center while there good enough to still score on 3 defenders team ball u paas to guy with better shot. Its crazy to leave barkley open or give him space but that's what happens when u have guys like jordan on team.

Those media people are full of bias/haters and liked to discredit him by using the stats sheets to back up their statements. Only dumb people believe that stats sheets tell the whole story when the truth is not everything will show up on stats sheets. I watched Kobe played, and the guy would often get double and triple teamed every game. His skills and footwork were unbelievable. I'm Irish and i started watching basketball 2 years ago and I like the bucks since the first time I heard of giannis story of living in a gym and being hungry alot of days in a year then when kobe bryant dies and his beautiful daughter and those other people rip i started listening to the stories of Kobe and I get the sense that no matter how good he was playing basketball and he's one of the top 5 elite imho but what he did of the court set him apart because he's inspired so many people world wide with his determination on and off the court and he was a very very smart guy.

My favorite Coach K/Kobe story was when Kobe was being recruited. K had self-righteously said that he was not interested in possible “one and done” recruits, yet he told Kobe that he would work “with him on it.”

This is the best channel on anything nba, just the most amazing guests and interviews. Then the fan made channels are next best... then way way back is the nonsense on TV .. except TNT ... TNT is awesome.
