Great advice, just wanted to mention that the water you use to rinse shouldn't be hot, it should be lukewarm, hot water can lead to a feeling of dizziness due to the temperature difference between the hot water and the fluid in the cochlea of your inner ear. But also make sure to get all the water out because other wise you can cause a bacterial or fungal infection.

Thank you for sharing another wonderful technique Dr. Mandell. My Mom always said to never put anything in your ear that is bigger than your small finger. She said to take a washcloth, wrap it once around your small finger and gently rub circular inside your ear. She also said if you get water in your ear turn your head to the side that has the water in it and the water should drain out. She also said after bathing to take your towel when drying off and push your cuticles back on your fingers and toes gently. My Mom was a great teacher in many ways. 😊 🙏 🙌 ❤️ 🫂 🤗 ✝️

I will still use hydrogen peroxide . Though I filled up both ears with it , using an ear syrine , everyday for 1-2 weeks . Where it completely removed ALL wax and why I got an ear infection , water in the ear . If there were pictures showing the " normal " amount of ear wax to always be present . A certain amount of earwax is healthy for the ear canal. It has a slight acidic ph, which helps prevents ear infections. If you have excessive earwax that builds up quickly. The most effective and safest, is visit an audiologist. Though olive oil is good for dry earwax, medical grade is the way to go. Q tips are not safe, they can cause trauma or injury. Leading to a life time of issues.

@cinemacritic2715 I know your comment was from 2 years ago but... I went to swimming lessons when I was a kid & always had ear issues, pain, ear infections galore... My mom used to put olive oil in my ears and I'd lie down and the olive oil always helped me. 1 to 2 months ago I had pain and later an ear infection. I put drops of olive oil in my ears and all was fine. Put a couple ounces of olive oil on a small dish and nuke it in the microwave for a few seconds. Then test temperature on your hand, finger so you don't burn yourself and put the drops of olive oil in your ears. Do this for a few days. You should be doing well soon after. I hope it works for you like it has for me! Best wishes! 🌝 I'm editing my comment to include this: Further into the comments someone said something silly about a blow torch. I don't recommend EVER using a blow torch, but, after showering I blow dry my ears too. The heat helps with drying your ears and even helps with the ear infections...

Yes this is instantly effective and the only way I remove ear wax. Make sure you thoroughly dry inside the ears afterwards and your head will feel lighter and clearer.

Not for all people. I use a-tips daily so ear wax never builds up like boogers in your nose. Gross how people can even allow ear wax to build up in your ears in the first place. Have been using q-tips all my life and it feels sooo good to use q-tips and spin them around in circles after a shower and dry them ear canals. Can’t stand to feel any liquid draining from my ear canals. Ear wax has never built up in my ears so this video doesn’t apply to people like me. 😌

Soap in the ear is not a good idea. You will disrupt the PH balance inside the ear canal. Best thing to do is drip some warmed up olive oil in the ear canal, then let it drain. Or spray some sea salt mixed in warm water and let it drain. Do not use soap. Only clean the ear canal if the wax is blocking the canal.

We're really not supposed to remove ear wax from our ears because our body produces it to protect the ear drum from high-pitched sounds. The reason we do it is because after a shower, it feels uncomfortable when the wax is wet.

soap and other types of shower gell harden the earwax in the ear... making it in a sense harder. Tho it is tru that if you clean the outer part of your ear with your towel or get that with a qtip ONLY THE OUTER PART entering the ear with a qtip is not safe nor recommended so that part is tru.

I had such an amount of wax in my ears. I had gotten an ear infection, and I had to go to the ER because the pain got so bad in the middle of the night. So they gave me antibiotics gave me a pain reliever. The next morning I called my home doctor and they had me come in right away and they flushed my ears out. it was so weird but felt so great afterwards. It really reduced the pain quite a bit. They used equal amounts of water and hydrogen peroxide. And use this big metal contraption that looks like a gigantic syringe and just forcefully push the water through my ears. 😊

It’s mostly likely to push to the ear drum making it much more harder to take out! I remember I went to my ENT and they took a look in my ear they told me that my ear wax was pushed against my ear drum and that it would take a while to take all of it out so it wouldn’t hurt me. I had to revisit as my mother paid for everything single time and I also had to use ear drops it was really a struggle. But it was mostly because my ear canal was pretty small.

If it’s really bad I would go to an audiologist for safest & complete removal. Just want to share I had vertigo last year when starting a heavy metals detox routine using Medical Medium's steps (the lemon water, celery juice & heavy metals detox smoothie DAILY). Seems that i was loaded up with metals, toxins & were releasing into the blood. The spinning ended after maybe 2 weeks. I'm still doing this detox-pull each morning & feel like new. I agree with u. Because it doesn’t make me hear well or whatever because I used it and I need a wash cloth instead of that. Because my dad told me everything about it. I’m gonna be honest. Using qtips would make me feel deaf. Sure it feels good but in the end it’ll push the wax inside and make it worse. Idk about soup but I know about the wash cloth my dad told me that. I gotta but wash cloths soon I don’t have it at my moms but I’m gonna use wash cloths and I’m gonna stare at a qtip and practice not giving into it. And say to myself what have I been doing since 4 years ago. How did I fuck up my ears doing that. That’s what I would do.

Yeah, but having soap and water in your ears can cause you to get an ear infection, and that's very painful so I'll pass

No do not try it buy an Ear cleanner and clean it with hot Water not hot hot Water but a littel hot Water and then tale some Water and Squish it and lean youre head that Way you are cleanning it Will help❤❤❤

Go to the doctor and they can easily clean your wax out. It's no problem at all.

I cannot do this with Water. I have bad bad dermatitis in my ears. The worst case I’ve ever heard of in my life been struggling with it for a long time, when I got into nursing work as a CNA, I borrowed a nurses stethoscope, I cleaned a good, so did she but I still got her dermatitis, it’s been horrific to make matters worse. I went on a motorcycle ride with my brother a few years ago and wore a half helmet. It was raining and it was a four hour ride and windy through my ears that damaged my eardrums. I’ve had plenty of eardrops nothing can help, I have tried everything a solution of 50-50 alcohol with hydrogen peroxide has helped a little bit and so has Calm eardrops, also oregano oil kills the infection, the best…

I use a bobby pin to remove earwax. It doesn't push wax in. I've never had a problem, but your mileage may vary
