I served in Brazil during the 60s and was appalled how many missionaries contacted hepatitis while serving. These poor souls could have avoided a life time of problems if they had been provided with this elementary information. Thank goodness that new missionaries are being alerted to situations, dangers, and experiences that should be avoided!

I'm so glad that even with the tragedy of the restaurant, it became a positive moment for both Missionaries and Converts. I'm glad everyone had a happy ending! 😊

And there was a typo in the spelling of the mission. It should have been Chicago.

I have react-to-light glasses because my eyes are light sensitive (basically my glasses change to sunglasses every time I'm in light that would hurt my eyes) I think you have to make clear in this video that people with visual impairment who have darkened glasses because of health reasons can still serve missions. Please :)

The attitude presented in regards to the tie was not one I would call Christ like at all. As for the sunglasses issue It's one thing when your outside it's something completely different when you're outside. I and my 14 year old son like someone else that commented have transition lenses as part of our prescription glasses because our eyes are very sensitive to sunlight. You ended with saying be respectful at all times, but you were not being very respectful at all times.

Seriously? I expect things produced by members to be kind. I'm 3 minutes into this and the only thing I can see is destructive criticism. I get the point your making but you don't have to insult a missionary wearing a duck tie to do it and start saying he's not taking the work seriously. You have no right to judge and be nasty about him. 2) just because you're wearing something fun doesn't mean you won't share the gospel well. You can use things like that as talking points and it's a tactic I use as a member missionary and by the way someone I talked to got baptised and is still a member 5 years later. There's not one way to preach the gospel. Be kinder to other people's ways you don't understand.

It's not about ability, it's about representing the lord with maturity and professionalism. You're right about the destructive criticism though, they could be nicer

danger danger danger the is not an endorsed by the church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, this is a mockery of the gospel, the devil is on a roll
@frenchfriedstudio26515 жыл бұрын
what are you talking about these videos are endorsed by the church they are even recommended by the missionary website
@JCole785 жыл бұрын
This is produced by the Missionary Department, and it's on one of the churches official KZbin channels, so yeah it is "enorsed" by the church.
