Another thought is to include diatomaceous earth to your diet so it will help eliminate harmful bacteria and possible bugs. Just make sure you don't inhale this because it can be an irritant. For additional whole foods suppliments try Standard Process. Here's the link to the website: www.standardprocess.com/

You can say instead " oh thank you but I have my water here and I am not thirsty." For food, you can say, "thank you so much but I have eaten already or thank you today we are fasting but God bless you for the hospitality i truly appreciate it". Please dont say "it doesnt agree with my stomach" that immediately shuts the recipient of the word down. No one will listen to you again and you wont be welcome into that community.

I often struggle with exercise, but perhaps seeing these different ways to exercise can help me stay motivated. You could also listen to Church approved music if that helps you get moving! 🎼💽👂🎧➡️⛹️🚴

True story about the life threatening issues of eating only 1 thing for a long time..... There was a missionary that was from my home ward that was serving his mission in Canada and not even a year had passed and he was retaining water and having heart problems. These problems started small but were getting almost life threatening. The Canadian doctors there tried to diagnose him for a month or so but couldn't figure out what was wrong. He came home temporarily and within few days doctors here in Utah figured out what was wrong. This missionary admitted to eating a single diet food almost daily to try and save money on food so they could have fun money on P-Day.The doctors told him what to do to keep up his heath, gave him dietary guidelines, diagnosed his heart problems and gave advice to keep this issue from recurring in the future hopefully, and was set back on his mission within the week. What caused these life threatening woes?...... RAMEN NOODLES ....... Goes to show you NEED a balanced healthy diet. If you read this and have a missionary out there, tell them this, because it may happen to them too. eating cheap food may be tempting, but that is exactly the trap that the adversary wants you to fall in so you cannot teach others the gospel of Jesus Christ to others. Let me tell you it was quite scary for him and the family involved. Not worth the risk! I only ate ramen noodles 3 times my whole mission. I purposely avoided it like the plague since it doesn't help you in any way honestly.

I can see how the constant put-downs make this more relatable to teenage boys, but... I saw a lot of damage done in the field with that attitude. I did a lot of damage with that attitude, because I didn't know where to draw the line. And isn't that the target audience, here? Where are the emotional safety videos? How do we teach when this crosses over to abuse? Of course, because of my experience, I'm extra sensitive, I know, but still.

Rejecting is an insult tho in our place😅
@sarahd17064 жыл бұрын
Same for my mom's culture & also where I served a mission. There are places & people who find rejecting an insult, but truth & safety are more important. I'm sure people would feel more bad to know they caused someone physical harm than to feel bad that someone said no to a food they offered. This goes for everything in life, & how God works--holding firm to boundaries, standards, truth, etc. are more important than whether someone chooses to be offended that we are saying no. Only we are stewards of ourselves (physically, spiritually, emotionally, timewise, financially, etc.)

@@benzun9600 LOL? Utah has a high number of educated youth, educated on the pros and cons of antidepressants. Therefore there is more antidepressant usage due to being educated on antidepressants without fear of side effects.

It depends, I has companions that came down with a tumor that could turn into cancer while on her mission, the treatment was fully paid for by the mission insurance since it wasn't there beforehand; even after she came home. As for anything precondition.... nope, it's on you. Generally that's how things go. This individuals issues however is between her, her doctors, and the church's insurance. Its none of our business really.
