Last season we sponsored the SHS (Southern Hunter Series) with a SFS ST2 Tuned HW97.177. the person who was pulled out of the hat,was not there to collect,he finally got his hands on it.we finally met up with him at a round 3 SHS,we asked him his views on the SFS tuned 97,in his 15 years? of shooting different spring rifles,that this one was the best so far! that speaks for its self,plus the score of 57/60 i got the first time i used it at west London rangers HFT course,its a deadly accurate spring rifle.once again Si,nicely put together Si,and thanks for your time really appreciate it! regards Davy

Fantastic review and unbelievable accuracy well impressed. I can vouch for sfs as I have a banshee and that is also completely different to the standard hw 95 to shoot. Keep up the good work lads

Great video guys, well done. I have the first Chieftan Tony built and I totally agree it is the best most accurate spring rifle I have ever owned. It certainly has made me seem a better shooter than I probably am lol. This is one rifle that I will keep and hand down to my son when I am to old to enjoy it any more. very good shooting that tune is fantastic it amazing what you can do with a springer . i have an hw 77 and it was very accurate but now i put an ox spring and it is awful .

Hi guys great vid. I shoot HFT up here in the North west, l own a Sandwell Hw 97k,I have won a few championships and managed to win a few UKHFT National rounds. So last winter I decided to try and up my game, so I bought a Sandwell Chieftain. Tony at SFS is a master in the world of Springers, but I just can't get tight groups with it and my scores dropped. Maybe I can't get on with the length. I have to say I'm a little disappointed with it.lm back with my old Sandwell 97k now and my scores are back up. Keep the vids coming men, lm a big fan of them. No worries Chris. Ive PMed you and passed on Tony's message to take a look at your rifle and give it a full overall if needed to get it shooting as it should do. SFS have top customer services and will get you sorted mate, no worries. Tony hates it if one of his rifles is not shooting like he expects it to so it will be fixed 100% mate.

Just curious, what all goes into a "tune" I have a moderate tinkering level with all my old guns that are past the warranty and if its not top secret id love to know at least a few universal ways or tips to improve accuracy on most air rifles like smoothing the sears and stuff like that, thanks! Great videos and even better shooting!

VerminHuntersTV hi Qyuubi786 as for accuracy the same buddy,the difference between the Chieftain & the Imp,is one is a under lever the other a break barrel.but as you have seen in the vids,the SFS tuned spring rifles are phenomenal. regards Davy

exactly as you said mate very bad recoil and very very inacurate . you are lucky you live in the UK you have Sandwell and a bunch of other very good tuners,me i live in Malta and we dont have that luxury we have to tune ourselves .luckily on youtube there is a lot of good info of how to do it .i will throw that ox spring away and refit the original. thanks for the comment mate and keep the videos comming.

Cannot knock sandwell tunes or your shooting, but first you should shoot with a standard 77 or 97 to show how good or bad they are in the first place , then you have a bench mark , also it should be stated what work is done in the tune so people no what they a paying for , cheers Shane uk 🇬🇧
