Some players have played for only one team in a North-American professional sports league, with winger Brock Boeser (Canucks), centre-winger Dillon Dube (Flames), goalie Stu Skinner (Oilers), winger Nik Ehlers (Winnipeg Jets), defenceman Morgan Rielly (Leafs), d-man Jake Sanderson (Sens) and d-man Kaiden Guhle (Habs) have all ever only played for one NHL team each. Retired ex-winger Bob Gainey only ever played for the Habs among NHL teams although retired ex-centre Doug Gilmour played for 7 NHL teams, and both following their careers, were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. So what if Pat Beverley has played for 7 NBA teams? Doug Gilmour after all had played for the same number of NHL teams throughout his playing career. Gilmour's NHL career started with the 1983-84 season and ended with the 2002-03 one while Pat Bev, after only ever having played for two NBA teams throughout his first nine seasons, played for the remaining 5 during just the last 3 and evidenced by his signing overseas is unlikely to get to play for another NBA team. Playing outside the NBA being really the only way for a career NBAer with no desire to retire to get to keep on playing typically means something's up with that player that has made few teams from that league want to sign him to a contract, and on that aspect I see Pat Bev fitting the bill.

I agree with all your other points, but him going for the steal when Russel was bout to call time wasn't remotely reckless! What are you talking about?! Good defenders used to do this sort of shit every once in a while, and seeing as how he almost got the steal it was a good risk to take there. He didn't dive for a knee, he went for the steal and Russel's leg was in the wrong place at the wrong time. crafty defensive guards used to try tricks like this alot back in the 90's and 2000's and to make it out like he either tried injuring Russ on purpose or at least didn't care that he might is ridiculous.
