I think the funniest thing I've ever heard Patick Beverly do was when Paul George got traded to the Clippers while Patrick Beverly was at a restaurant. Patrick Beverly allegedly jumped on the table with excitement and yelled, "I just won the fucking championship!"

Some players have played for only one team in a North-American professional sports league, with winger Brock Boeser (Canucks), centre-winger Dillon Dube (Flames), goalie Stu Skinner (Oilers), winger Nik Ehlers (Winnipeg Jets), defenceman Morgan Rielly (Leafs), d-man Jake Sanderson (Sens) and d-man Kaiden Guhle (Habs) have all ever only played for one NHL team each. Retired ex-winger Bob Gainey only ever played for the Habs among NHL teams although retired ex-centre Doug Gilmour played for 7 NHL teams, and both following their careers, were inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. So what if Pat Beverley has played for 7 NBA teams? Doug Gilmour after all had played for the same number of NHL teams throughout his playing career. Gilmour's NHL career started with the 1983-84 season and ended with the 2002-03 one while Pat Bev, after only ever having played for two NBA teams throughout his first nine seasons, played for the remaining 5 during just the last 3 and evidenced by his signing overseas is unlikely to get to play for another NBA team. Playing outside the NBA being really the only way for a career NBAer with no desire to retire to get to keep on playing typically means something's up with that player that has made few teams from that league want to sign him to a contract, and on that aspect I see Pat Bev fitting the bill.

He falls into that very specific category of player where people say things like “Hate him when he’s not on your team” or “He provides that energy/spark the team needs.” Then he proceeds to get traded immediately afterward. You’d think he was like Draymond the way people/the media talk about him. However, as someone who loves sports media more so than the sport itself, he’s provided tons of hilarious content from something he said or did.

I actually quite liked Pat Bev for what he'd bring to a team, definitely annoying, but never seemed to be as dirty as Draymond, CP3. that last game was such a bad look though and to choose to sign with Israel of all places NOW during a genocide? while apparently having offers from NBA teams especially? pretty unforgivably awful
@thehaus6998

What genocide ? no genocide, this is called a war, all statistics show this ain't no genocide but you can echo your own lies a thousand times and Israel has some pretty decent basketball game, although more focused with teams like Macabi Tel aviv which do participate and are a top team in the euro leauge, but people like you who don't know anything and only judge would not know that

As a Laker fan, nah the Ayton thing was totally warranted. Pat Bev played like absolute ass for us most of the time, but checking Ayton for just standing over AR like that was totally needed. He basically had to work his way to get to the NBA, from small college to Euroleague, and has had a decade long career being an integral depth player. At times he can be very chippy or dirty at times, but I don't think you understand why he can be that competitive. He is also very passionate and loves the game of basketball, which is more than I can say for some much more talented players.

I can never like Pat Bev….dude almost robbed us of Russell Westbrook when he plunged into his knee on a possession that didn’t matter as Russ was taking a timeout…Russ had to miss months…thank God russ came back and did a powerful dunk in his first game back…screw you Pat Omg he covered this right as I finished typing it 1:45

I agree with all your other points, but him going for the steal when Russel was bout to call time wasn't remotely reckless! What are you talking about?! Good defenders used to do this sort of shit every once in a while, and seeing as how he almost got the steal it was a good risk to take there. He didn't dive for a knee, he went for the steal and Russel's leg was in the wrong place at the wrong time. crafty defensive guards used to try tricks like this alot back in the 90's and 2000's and to make it out like he either tried injuring Russ on purpose or at least didn't care that he might is ridiculous. I get that if your a Thunder fan, how that would piss the shit outa you, but that was just some bad luck - that's it.

My favorite thing about Pat Bev contributed to is: "Pat Bev trick y'all man like he play defense... He just running around doing nothing." it's just funny to me, I know he wasn't doing nothing. But the meme is funny

Patrick…i understand your drive. However, hurting someone whole trying to play “defense “ is not defense. Also, talking shit and not backing it up does not make you an elite player. Throwing a ball at an attendance member is disrespectful.

and he chose to play in Israel when he knows what’s going on with Palestine that’s weak as hell, but for someone who’s always made cheap moves his whole career I can’t say I’m surprised

Ngl I enjoyed his time in Philly. He fit his role as a gritty vet backup PG and Nick Nurse seemed to have his worst tendencies under lock.

What downfall bro? He's literally a second round pick. He's had a good career and it's time to earn somewhere if he's not being signed in the NBA. This is too petty 😂

Imo his reputation would be much better if he didn’t injure westbrook. He basically didn’t care. It undermines his “hard work” mentality when you’re willing to injure people for just about no reason.

Tbh people just hate pat bev because he’s not afraid to shit talk your favorite player, especially the superstars in the league. He wears his heart on his sleeve. However he has done and said a lot of corny stuff so it is what it is i guess.

Not only is Pat Bev a bad and annoying player, hes also a crappy human being I know his son irl, and Hes very similar to his dad. Im pretty sure his dad doesnt care about him. That shove on Chris Paul made me dislike the guy so much and I could not understand why it wasn’t getting more attention. He could’ve hurt him really bad. It’s also the lamest, wimpiest and most immature thing you could do. He’s an adult and using fifth grade playground antics to deal with his emotions. I just thought that that was really bad.
