We're joined on The Saturday Panel by former Derry star Joe Brolly, Down great James McCartan, and ex-Donegal player and now manager Declan Bonner!
They're all with John Duggan to reflect on the golden era for Ulster football in the early 1990s - when all three of their counties won All-Ireland's (Down 1991 and 1994, Donegal 1992, Derry 1993).
We hear their views on cynical fouling, the Dubs' dominance, the James McClean poppy controversy, and much more.

Joe Brolly is always a good listen but best suited to a 1 on 1 format. The interview could have explored a lot more on the football side of things in my view.

Exactly. Brolly just wants to dominate the discussion and happily spouts any kind of rameis in order to do so. Poor from presenter not to control him. Brolly is brilliant 1 on 1, great entertainment, if ever a man should have his own podcast it's him.

Yeah overdoing the politics on it and going on long speeches about everything and anything. Who does he think he is? I am not sure he realises he is even dominating the whole interview. Presenter should have reigned him in more. I blame the presenter (John Duggan). Should have brought Declan and James in more and muted Brolly when required!

Tbh I think it's the fact he's a barrister - it's his living to talk and convince - I find him quite interesting tbf

Joe getting it a bit wrong on James McClean. Completely missing the impact on his family for instance. Not as simple as coming off Social Media or filtering it out. It's hard to 'stop making appearances' when you are a professional footballer.
