And that's the magic of the solo rpging: our brain is designed to make connections with the things that happens, so we connect all these random stuff until it all makes sense 😊

I really wanted a friendship moment with that extreme no. "You... you are right Simon. We should use the scroll on the temple. I can bear with this curse a little while longer." Stupid ghost had to ruin that.

You connect the dots so well with your story telling that you've made a story that makes sense with randomly generated elements that not even you could of predicted.... well done. Also I feel like the chaos factor should of gone down considering that Simon was truly in control of the situation for once

The little no-context clips before the episode begins are a lot of fun. Upon the meta comment "If I have learned anything ... I do not, in fact, always suck", I said to myself, "oh, I am going to enjoy this episode." Of course, I always do, but that bumped up the feeling of positive anticipation.

Initially, I was disappointed the magic item was a scroll, but you wove it into the narrative in an engaging way. Well done. I hope the ghost and the Irish warrior stay around. They are both great NPCs.

Holy smokes! Yet another epic episode, and this time in an entirely different way from the last! Instead of big, bombastic battles, this time it was a quiet, personal conflict. Both extremely engaging, and enormously entertaining. Really enjoying this marathon as I catch up!

😂😂😂 I just bought Perilous Wilds and realized Arn's surname Kalapunki comes from the Finnish based list of names. Kalakaupunki would be the whole name of Fishtown, the words the name is based on. Kalapunki to Finnish ears sounds a little bit Finnish but kind of weird and funny. In any case Arn Kalapunki is a fantastic exotic NPC name 😀

Crossbow bolt into the clavicle would probably be really bad since the subclavian artery lies just beneath and there are also other large vessels in the vicinity, as well as the tip of the lung. The classical TV-shot-in-the-shoulder is actually a really nasty wound which in many cases is more lethal than many other wounds. =)
@MeMyselfandDieRPGАй бұрын
Ouch! Well, in that case, I sure am glad there's no rules for subclavian arterial damage in Savage Worlds! ;)

My only thing I would do is have a note card stood up for when you change characters during camera angle changes. Helps me associate voices to names.

My goal, as a professional voice actor, is to ensure you don’t *need* a visual cue for who is speaking at any given moment.

Wait, did I miss something? Simon’s second shot at Arne - the one that wounded him - suffered from a -2 multi action penalty, but then you rolled a 5. Should he have missed or was there a bonus that I didn’t catch? Totally possible since that fight was fast, furious and fun! Good episode as always.
@trevordevall27735 жыл бұрын
You didn't miss anything. There were a couple of moments that got lost in the edit, but the final result was the same: a normal hit. Such is the price of keeping the show as fast, furious and fun as Savage Worlds is ;)

Ah, a tale as old as TTRPG. Defeat a BBEG, only to almost die from internal party conflict. 😂 Feel like it is easy to overlook the RP side of things, and focus on the action, when solo playing. So it is nice to see some solid RPing going on. 👍
