The most wonderful sound in the world! If only I could see and hear it again with the most beautiful carousel horses in the world. This would be the greatest gift!! Thank you, Tom Gavioli

The sounds of this Gavioli were a part of my childhood. Savin Rock Amusement Park is long gone, but The Flying Horses and its music will always be wonderful memories. Thank you for posting this. I'm so happy that the old instrument is still around. What a marvelous work of art it is!

I didn't get to the Savin Rock amusement park until its last days--thanks for sharing this with us--wish I had that kind of patience, not to mention skill!

I like the new facade way better than the original one! The red colors were rather gaudy.

I believe they were trying to recreate the original factory paint scheme, or something like it if none of the original colors were still under the 'park paint' (not sure about this).

The white you see on the facade in the ending pic is primer, I think, as a base for the colors to be eventually applied. The finished facade can be seen in all its beauty in the more recent videos of music from this organ on the same YT channel.

Does the Savin Rock refer to the amusement park formerly in West Haven, Connecticut?
