The thing I love about the scanner in R&D is that it's powerful but it's demand for batteries forces you to play fast and aggressive to keep a steady battery count making the game harder in a way.

Doors: -scanner- Rooms and doors: screen scanner. Rooms remade: shows how much hiding spots there are in the room, as well as light like the pressure lantern.

R&D may have the best scanner and costs the least amount of time but at the same time it does because total gameplay time AND honorable mention, it also costs your sanity.

I am so glad the scanner in doors got replaced by a barrel of starlight but i dont really know if its worth it either. You still have to commit 2 hours and it only has 4 uses, yes the speed and healing/shield is good, but it lasts for ~30 doors. I dunno if it does that but ii feel like it should recharge it's uses when put in a rift (and turn into an empty barrel when all 4 uses are up so you can still recharge it

It's always in room 0 (the one you spawn in), on the omega symbol, on the wall.

Sad the scanner is unobtainable except super hard mode for noe in doors prob due to fact that the bayteries arent draining the tablet in doors which madenit way to op if they were to readd this id say reach a 1000 again with the option to pick up barrel of starlight or the scanner menaing you can only pick and choose one

You don't , once you make it to that room , you automatically earn the checkpoint and you have it forever

@@FordGuyFR No, every 100 rooms you reach a checkpoint and can start there again. For example, if I reached a-700 and died, I can restart back at a-700 and continue progressing to a-800.
