Gonna look dumb for saying this, but I think Mike survived. With all of the other dead bullies, there's the animatronic that they have the mask for behind them. But with Mike, its just his brother next to him with Fredbear behind Joseph. I honestly think Joseph left him alive and made him post the videos online before leaving him with the guilt of killing his friends and his own little brother. It would explain how Mike is the one posting the videos.

What I find very tragic and unsettling about this story is that... (If we are going by the games and how in the letter written in memory to Joseph it mentions that Elizabeth is also already dead) Is that yes, while the bullies were cruel... They never truly wanted to hurt him. They stopped laughing the moment those jaws clamped down because... They didn't think that would actually happen. Most cheap Chuck E Cheese robots are powered by dinky lil air pumps, not whatever Fredbear was built with. Because Joseph is a child he doesn't understand the full extent of what led up to his death. He doesn't understand that his father was always a horrible man who built dangerous deadly machines. He doesn't know that his father killed his sister, even if unintentionally. He doesn't understand that his father's neglect and abuse is what caused the rift between him and Michael. It's just... It feels too real with the layers of angst to it.

Yeah tbh the way literally everything was aimed was Micheal thing felt like a kid just lashing out but not not quite getting the bigger picture. Like yeah being killed by your big brother is messed up as hell, but William was probably going to STILL do something awful later down the line, dead kid or not based on the fact he was even capable of doing it multiple times. Like, Joseph killed every person he still was angry at and STILL (probably) doesn't know the full extent of what happened, and how his father is equally to blame as much as his brother was. I just saw someone else mention this too, but the fact that Joseph is more than likely trying to tell the story of what happened through multiple different visuals and subtle voice lines is such good yet a messed up way or story telling (not to the creator, to the character himself as he is a child in a sense). Specifically I wanted to bring up 1:09:32 (as mentioned before, someone else pointed this out too), though I've noticed other subtle hints, Freddy "screaming" Mama as an attempt to be comedic is done in such a way where there is an underlying tone of something more sinister. Sure, Freddy sounds fine, but that scream sounds way too close to an adult attempting to scream like a pained/stressed child while trying to be comedic all at once...again, so messed up! I love it!!

A nice touch in the final scene with the cake and the cast, foxy is the only character to not speak. Even though he opens his mouth in a speaking motion during the collective "Surprise!", his voice is not there. Even the less talkative Funtime and Puppet talked! Michael doesn't even get to speak.

I don't think that micheal was dead before the photo or that the game wasnt real in my opinion, I think it just photographed directly before their deaths. In the first game, if I remember correctly the groaning happens when bonnie/freddie gets into your office while your cam is up, and kills you when it is lowered. This is probably a similar situation with micheal being killed the moment the photo was shown to him.
