make no mistake about it. Mitch Johnson is one of the most competitive and fearsome fast bowlers of any generation. He was naturally quick and at his peak and at top form he can knock over any batting line up. His ashes domination of 2013/2014 was one of the best fast bowling feats i have ever seen. Those POMS were running scared of the Mitch. As a west indian i totally enjoyed that series.

Actually no, because they're both right-arm bowlers. Mitchell Johnson was hard to face because he was left-arm and rapid. You don't face high quality left arm pace until you get to first class cricket or test matches, so batters aren't used to it. It comes at you from an angle you don't have much experience with.

Not many remember but after this series Australia toured SA in some time, and Johnson destroyed SA as well, was I think again MoS, broke even Greame Smiths arm. He was not a one series wonder.
